I don’t know why I missed that. Thank you for posting it. The replies are pretty good, and lots of people made sure Cruz saw it.

There you go, trying to confuse us with logic.

But we cant complain about Obama not being a NBC, and then go and nominate a non-NBC ourselves. We need to be consistent. We are supposed to be better than the Dems.

No they weren't, they were both Cuban citizens at the time of his birth.

That’s because the premise is wrong. Whether a parent is nbc or not is immaterial, they must be a citizen.

Just think what the Supremes would do with the opportunity to slap down Cruz, if it looked like he was going to win.
Imagine this: Cruz is ruled ineligible by the Supremes, and then somebody comes up with proof that Obama was born in Kenya.
At least the headlines would be entertaining for awhile.

And yet we never hear a word about Rubio’s eligibility. Hmmmmm. Thanks for the info.

proof that Obama was born in Kenya Even if Barry had been born in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White Hut, his father was a foreigner, so he's not eligible.

Marco Rubio was born in Miami, Florida, May 28, 1971, to Mario Rubio and Oria Garcia, both Cuban citizens who naturalized as US citizens on Nov. 5, 1975.
Rubio is not eligible.
- - - -
Piyush Jindal (Bobby Jindal) was born June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Amar and Raj Jindal
Amar and Raj Jindal entered the United States Feb 1, 1971 as permanent legal residents.
Bobby Jindals parents were not U.S. citizens when their son was born, they were both permanent legal residents at the time of his birth. Jindals mother became a U.S. citizen Sept. 21, 1976, and his father became a U.S. citizen on Dec. 4, 1986.
Jindal is not eligible.

While I'm not impressed by the sentiment or the profanity, I'm presuming that individual doesn't care too much about being referred to as a "noob" --- per your reply @ 60. I would also note sharing a private FReepmail IS poor form.
I'm presuming it was an invitation, not a threat, the "forum faux pas meter" finds this one to be a tough call.

The rules in 1961 were, for a married lady having a child overseas, in order to pass U.S. citizenship to her child, she needed to have lived in the U.S. for 10 years, 5 of which were after the age of 14.
In 0’s mom’s case, she was only 18 when 0 was born.
If 0’s mom and 0 were coming to the U.S., the overseas U.S. consulate would issue a conditional document (I forget the name; possibly “CoC”) for 0, and then 0’s immigration status would be sorted out when they got to the U.S.
I believe 0 would have had to go through immigration/naturalization process (maybe, if before he was of age, it would be done by his mom filing papers) in order to become a U.S. citizen.
If he didn’t, or his mom didn’t, then we have an illegal alien in the white house.

Very interesting. Neither Rubio nor Jindahl had citizen parents, but Cruz is the one they constantly say is not eligible.
Thanks for the info.

Ann’s five minutes are over, but she’s useful from time to time.
Has Ann started the draft Romney movement yet?
