White privilege
Global warming
Income inequality
(in other words, grasp for anything but the obvious truth)
Basically cheap drugs got introduced in the past five years and cops only react when they have to. White flight caused the tax base of most urban areas to escape, so there’s no more cash flow to expand a pretender cop force into a larger pretender cop force. Toss in a public who doesn’t believe the media message or political gimmick schemes of either party, and you got yourself a society that thrives on dangerous habits.
Did I miss anything?
Glamorizing the crime and drug activities, with shows like “Sopranos” and “Breaking Bad”?
why should we obey the law when those in charge do not?
From the white house to certain police who I know who pull speeders over and then finish their shift to go home in their patrol car and speed.
Detroit police chief James Craig gets it. He calls it urban terrorism. The “activists” get it partly right in blaming democrat politicians but their solution is the usual “give us more money”.

“Blaming guns with larger magazines”
Maybe the cops are afraid that if they have a physical confrontation with a member of a protected class, they will wind up going to jail and having their lives ruined.
So they just show up and write the reports.
Or maybe it is the larger magazines, I am so confused.
Imagine how the next generation of city dwellers are going to behave.
Repeat offenders
Drugs
Guns with larger magazines
This is because the government and the police see the world as "us vs. them," and the government being superior human beings, is justified in controlling the public by any means it takes.
Ironically, the cause in increase in crime is government, which has undermined the values attendant to responsibility and freedom via entitlement, education, and encouraging a culture of dependence.
This is deliberate on the part of government, as it increases government power.
-——Toss in a public who doesnt believe the media message——
I think it can be argued that “the public” is not affected by the crime/violence that is largely restricted to the jungle
The public really doesn’t care
If you find someone who lives 30 miles outside of Baltimore...they don’t care how many people get shot. If they work in town....they exit the interstate, drive straight to work, and leave work to get out of the city. They don’t spend money in Baltimore...they probably don’t buy fuel there....they probably buy a $8 burger meal at best and that’s the only way that the city gets any sales tax off these people. It’s that way in Atlanta now....New Orleans...DC....Philly....etc.
The pretender crew for the city councils of these urban jungles really don’t care. They whip up some fake enthusiasm and talk jobs for their ‘people’, and it’s more of a comedy than anything else..
80% of those getting murdered are criminals themselves
That is why people don’t care
Around 2010 period in DC, when I was working there....there was this argument between two rival groups on the eastside of town. A cheap $50 fake diamond bracelet disappeared. One member of a group blamed a member of a second group.
Over the course of ten days, I think there were around eight people shot and killed. Three were at some funeral for the member of one group who got shot and killed....and they were chased down (killed somewhere in the city). When the cops finally stopped everything and figured all out....they just sat there. All these dead people....some were just family members of the gang members...shot over a cheap bracelet that disappeared. It makes no sense in the real world.
