Donald Trump is, of course, the GOP frontrunner. This explains why, like other polls before it, a brand new Monmouth University survey shows him in first place, ahead of Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL), Scott Walker (R-WI), and everyone else. (Only these two candidates, by the way, registered double-digit support with Trump in the race). And while many of us expect The Donald’s reign of relevance to end or implode eventually, there’s no denying the fact he's sittin' pretty heading into Thursday night’s primetime debate:

I know one thing for certain. If Jebby is nominated, I am voting Libertarian or stay home. Really, I mean it.

People are so desperate for a savior they are willing to throw every principle they ever had and stomp on them for a con man!

How magnanimous of you to ignore what Trump supporters are saying, and provide your own condescending reason to validate your pontificating.

Without principles we lose. period. ... Winning without principles is NOT winning.

If "principles" were sufficient for the task, we'd be nominating Vice President Palin right now.

Good luck electing the Pope to the Presidency.

Oh wait, the Pope is a freaking Marxist, so you shouldn’t vote him in.

Fox talking analyst on the Kelly File made hundreds of excuses. Trump going to flame out; he won’t look presidential on the stage with the others LoL; Trump will get tired of it; and on and on.

His audience must have been Murdock, GOPE, and the rest of the munchkins.

Looks like Kelly hyped vaporware about Trump being on her show tonight.

Trump supports a private healthcare system. Forget the noise from the animals.

The only thing that Clinton had going for him was he saw during his second term the need to work with the Republicans. That is how we got a balanced budget.

When Trump talks about healthcare, he wants it handled in the private sector for everyone who is not too poor to afford their own policy. He is for competition across state lines. Makes sense to me.

Thought this was a political discussion not a forum for anti Catholic bigots.
Trump your hero Didn’t mock or even mention the barbarity committed by the Moslems which would have been a perfect time to bring it up. Instead he took a swipe at Christian basics and actually mocked one of their observences in their religious services. Which was stupid. He’s a loose cannon that fired a shots at religious Christians.

You're the one who criticized Trump on religious grounds. All I said was that you ought to vote for the Pope then if you really want someone to match up to your religious standards-- but then, the irony, is that you wouldn't even vote for the Pope because he is a Marxist. That's not bigotry. I just read an article on Drudge talking about how the Pope will be giving mass next to a portrait of Che pretty soon.

That's your Pope buddy, a far bigger problem than Trump calling a wafer a "cracker."

Glass houses and all that...
