A large majority of Latinos view Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump negatively, according to a new poll, and more than half believe his recent comments about Mexican immigrants were racist and inappropriate.
Trump, who is leading the Republican field in polls ahead of the first debate this week, has drawn both headlines and scorn for his incendiary comments about Mexicans and immigrants, saying during his announcement speech in June that Mexico is sending people that have lots of problems They are bringing crime. Theyre rapists.
A survey of 250 Latinos found that 75% view the television star and real estate mogul unfavorably, and 61% say their view of him is very negative, according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll results.

Yep and too many on FR think all Hispanics are mexicans!
Unfortunately, in tribalistic terms, to impugn a perpetrator is to impugn his tribe.
Thought we were past that; guess not.
The poll of 250 Latino adults was conducted July 26-30. The margin of error for 250 interviews among Adults is ±6.20%.
That's quite a large MOE because so few were interviewed. And it was "adults," not registered voters.
From the article:
During his announcement speech in June, Trump said that Mexico is "sending people that have lots of problems They are bringing drugs. They are bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."Asked to assess that comment, 55 percent of Latinos said that the remarks were "insulting and racist and have no place in a campaign for president."
Another 29 percent said that "Trump should have been more careful with the language he used, but he is raising an important issue." Fourteen percent said that "Trump had the guts to say exactly what was on his mind about an important problem we need to deal with."
That's a pretty strong push in that poll.

So Trump is surging and he's not, all in the same poll.
In that article, the sample is "The NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll was conducted July 26-30, 2015. The margin of error for 252 interviews among Republican Primary Voters is ±6.17%."

“The Problem is NOT Obama; its not John Boehner; its not Rush Limbaugh; its not Donald Trump, or the Confederate flag. Its left wing media bias; the conspiracy of the lying, radical, mainstream, Islamist, Marxist, stinking, U.S. media.”
would like to see what latinos they polled...
“Time thinks all Hispanics are illegals.”
Time also thinks that mexican is a race
I don't give a rat's ass what any illegal 's'p'ic thinks about anything that has to do with the USA.
Even the illegal ones don't want to be them.
Good thing Trump doesn’t need their votes. All he needs is to grab 4.05% more of the WHITE vote, and he is president.
Impossible. Trump is going to take most of the Latino vote and most of the Black vote. He said so.
Look at the internals of the poll, too; which I don’t have available.
Clearly a leading poll, most likely including about 50% illegals.
But yeah, no Republican is going to win this affirmative action-favored demographic.
Wait.
Are persons polled citizens, likely to vote, in swing states?
If not, you may as well blow this off.
Who cares.
I just polled a Hispanic Woman, my Wife.
She is 100% Pro Trump.
My Poll indicates that 100% of Latinos support Trump.
With a margin of error of +/- 80%.
