On Monday, I pointed out that a majority of Republican voters were to Donald Trump's right on immigration: Fully 63 percent of them wanted a plan to deport all unauthorized immigrants. On Thursday, Trump pretty much closed the gap, proposing to deport all 11 million unauthorized immigrants currently in the US and then let some select few return.

Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash that as president he would deport all undocumented immigrants and then allow the "good ones" to reenter the country through an "expedited process" and live in the U.S. legally, though not as citizens.

Most would self-deport if you cut off welfare anything. The rest could be arrested, have any assets seized and thrown out. Whatever it cost, it would be a good investment in the future.

A bounty on this would be money well spent compared to the graft and corruption from the so called stimulus bill or the billions spent on solyendra....
Once a several hundred thousand illegals were caught by bounty hunters and deported, they would start deporting themselves. We could even work with airlines and flight normally going to mexico and other central American countries to fill unused seat with deportees and give the airlines a kickback to boot.
Well, if they don’t speak English, and have no authorizing paperwork....**Schwing!**
And, you could let those who leave voluntarily keep all assets.
Only those caught lose everything.
As unpalatable as this seems to most Americans, isn’t what Trump said exactly what should be done, if the laws and constitution are to be followed?
That would work, once the illegals start seeing average LEGAL Americans willing to seek them out and basically make citizens arrests or assist authorities, they will self deport en masse.
There are always hold outs, those you imprison.

I think Obama’s “unaccompanied minors” with their gang tattooed faces really need to stay home and never come back. Nobody is going to hire those dirty maggots and it won’t be long before the DemocRATS decide that their tattooed faces are a disability and legislate that the tattooed maggots can start hitting on Social Security.
It is clearly more like 30-60 million. Give them opportunity to send-deport and apply to return, else be deported with no return. Further, enforce laws against employing illegal aliens.

100 percent deporation is the way to go. I want these people OUT of the country. Hell, I would go all the way Ann Coulter and require a hold on all further immigration. But, Trump’s plan is not bad.

The first step are policies that encourage self deportation when neither jobs nor welfare are available. If some immigrants have done an honest respectable job as Americans I would support giving them a second chance to come back.
Such a problem always comes down to logistics when tens of millions are involved. Easier said than done.
Americans need to understand that the political and financial elites want most legacy Americans turned into an under class, only so that elites are turned into a bigger over class.
