Outrageous.
FUBAR
This can’t possibly be true. Satire?
Hasan and Bergdahl agree.
Democrats happened.
This story smells like BS. Total and utter BS.
Of course they’re going to charge him, can’t have infidels defending themselves........./s
He got 3x the number of our guys killed in Afghanistan than the previous president with his ROE.
Anyone associated with these charges and advancing them along, should be given an immediate reason to find new employment.
Maybe the Mosque down the road is hiring.
Pentagon insanity on parade. Obonzo’s “fundamentally transformed” Amerika really sucks! When attacked by Islamoterrorists, it is your duty as an American, to NOT FIGHT BACK TO DEFEND YOURSELF! Obonzo can KMA!
Evidently Commander White is not black.
When is our military going to say, “ENOUGH”?
Opening for ANY REPUBLICAN...if they have the gonads.
Don’t be surprised if Trump quickly nails it, yet again, here. While the others wait for their ‘advisers’ (most of them gay, by the way) to tell them how they should respond.
If true, another obamshitsky W-T-F moment!
The U.S. Navy owes me a new mind. They just blew the only one I have.
Sorry folks - I’m going to back the Navy on this one.
Federal Law is crystal clear on this one.
18 U.S. Code § 930 - Possession of firearms and dangerous weapons in Federal facilities.
How many other times had this Officer violated the law *prior* to this shooting will likely be the focus of the Article 32 hearing if I were to guess....
The only exceptions are for :
(d) Subsection (a) shall not apply to
(1) the lawful performance of official duties by an officer, agent, or employee of the United States, a State, or a political subdivision thereof, who is authorized by law to engage in or supervise the prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution of any violation of law;
(2) the possession of a firearm or other dangerous weapon by a Federal official or a member of the Armed Forces if such possession is authorized by law; or
(3) the lawful carrying of firearms or other dangerous weapons in a Federal facility incident to hunting or other lawful purposes.

At least he’s alive to stand before the Court.
If this it true, it is beyond shameful. It is tar-and-feather worthy.
A scan of the iNet gives only 2nd hand speculation from the Navy Times and conservative oriented outlets. While I agree that this would be a TRAVESTY of justice, I am speculating that this may be a charge against standing orders. If this post had standing orders to have no personal weapons on site, then Lt. Cmdr Timothy White would have been in violation of those orders.
So, with his public admission of the use, higher command has no choice but to bring charges. The logical thing would be for the area commander to make a fast decision that reaffirms the standing order (subject to later change), and tap this officer with the lightest of punishments and mark his record that he still met the expectations of the Navy.
