I’ve never figured out the lyrics to that song and what they may mean. Any insights as to what Loggins was singing about?

Same here.
I wonder what it tastes like
(and don’t say VINEGAR!)
Did you have a good week?

Busy week. I went to the last concert of the Seattle Chamber Music Festival last night. That's a long drive to Seattle and back during the hottest day of the year. Good concert, though.

I spent quite a bit of time researching all the Beethoven stuff. It's kept me hopping.

The guy’s a “rolling stone” and just moves from place to place.
The woman in Tenn knows that each town he mentions, he will never settle down in.
That’s why she says NO, and wants him to come home.

I am glad that you got to go to the Festival,
It sounds lovely!
I’m sure it was worth the long drive!

We appreciate all the research that you do
to post Beethoven, and all the classical music.
I really love how you tell of their struggles,
heart aches, and so on.

It makes the music more interesting, I think!

Oh gosh, you're making me blush.

(BLUSH BLUSH)

Luvvie Sue and I are getting ready for VJ Day in two weeks. The Hit Parade for 1945 should be a lot of fun.

They really are. And their personalities are sooo different! They have been great entertainment and kept me company those 5 weeks that hubby was gone.

But...I don’t bathe them! LOL!

Please don’t laugh when I tell you this,’but I’ve always wanted to open a supper club,
Remember when they had the little lamps on the tables and stuff?
If someone had a phone call, they would bring the phone to the table.
Just such cool stuff!
LOL

Memories of old movies from the Forties and Fifties. Like “Pal Joey.”

Check out “Teacher’s Pet,” the Clark Gable, Doris Day and Gig Young movie from 1958. There’s an extended bit in a supper club that’s hilarious. Young plays a professor who is gay, but they didn’t dare say it out loud in the movies in those days. The inference was there, though.

That’s pretty cool!
I hope sometime you can come to Maine.
We’ll show you around and take the train to Rockland.
It’s a blast!
