In yet another sign we're getting closer to figuring out what happened to missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, battered luggage has washed up on an island near where plane debris was found this week.
Malaysian and Australian officials have said that it's "almost certain" the plane debris came from a Boeing 777. Flight MH370 is currently the only missing Boeing 777 in the world.
It's unclear whether the suitcase that was found on Reunion Island near Madagascar in the Indian Ocean is from the missing plane, but it's a possibility considering where the suitcase washed up.

Definitely looks like a Boeing 777 suitcase.

I expect them to find a few perfectly preserved passports which will direct us towards the intended bad guys (never consider the Moslem cockpit, though).
And worse it could have been under the water until the right stuff corroded and freed it. So there’s no way to even know how long it’s been drifting, might have been all 16 months, might have been a week.

Does the wing flap float?
And they have just begun searching beaches in the area. Other islands that are deserted will follow.
I’ve been quite interested in their coverage. It’s the only time I watch CNN.
Following the lines it appears there may be a bit of adjustment needed to search area
“another sign we’re getting closer to figuring out what happened”
