I’ve noticed a trend in the “medical community” over the past 10 years or so that they love asking ownership questions.
And if you refuse to answer, they assume....Yes....they “own”.
“And if you refuse to answer, they assume....Yes....they own.”
Actually there is a 3rd category for those that refuse to answer: “Armed and potentially dangerous”
Had my physical yesterday and the doctor asked me if I felt safe at home and almost apologized saying it was part of Affordable Care Act. Told him I felt threatened by the crap on TV and the politicians. He sat there and typed away.
I wonder what is the best answer to those stupid questions they ask at the doctor’s office.
Just tell them you don’t. It’s none of their business in the first place and they can’t check in the second place - simple.
Better yet, find another doctor - one who has guns.
That’s why I always say “no.”
If the doctor asks about owning guns at home, ask him if he’s asking the question because he’s just following orders.
And if you refuse to answer, they assume....Yes....they own.
Doctors kill four to five times as many people by mistakes as are killed by guns every year. Doctors should pay more attention to medicine than politics.
This is why I carefully choose my doctors. My OBGYN is an Air Force reservist, a conservative and one of the most compassionate, God-fearing people I’ve ever met. My PCP is a small-town guy who runs his practice with his nurse wife and has a head shot of Reagan in his office.
I’m in good hands. :)
always answer no.
