CINCINNATI - UC police officer Ray Tensing's body camera video clearly shows that he committed "murder" when he shot and killed an unarmed black motorist at a traffic stop, prosecutor Joe Deters said Wednesday.
The shocking video shows Tensing, standing outside the driver's door, with 43-year-old Sam DuBose at the wheel, talking peacefully for about 90 seconds. Tensing repeatedy asks DuBose to produce a driver's license. DuBose says he has a license but he doesn't have it with him.

If the dumb ass had just listened to the directions from the cop he would be alive now.
No, in your case you should always resist the police then maybe you will be beaten senseless and spare us your presence here and perhaps so crowned you may gain some wisdom.
Lol, fight the power!
“Should we kiss the officers...feet while we’re at it?,
Why do you have to take it to the ridiculous? If I am stopped, can’t produce a DL or ID, it is not my car, have a bottle of alcohol on the floor, grab an armed LEO’s arm, going for the glove compartment, the dashboard, turn the key on and in gear ready to roll......I would expect something bad might come my way. What in the hell is wrong with just going along with the process?
Even with the Brown case we see that isn’t true. Numerous eye witnesses and physical evidence showed that the use of force by the officer was justified but that didn’t matter a bit.
Or shot, which would please you more.
Would you expect to be shot in the head? None of what you just described, even the parts that didn't happen, does not represent a threat to the officer's life or safety, and don't justify being killed.
Correct. That is the problem.
Oh yes, everything I said happened, everything! A LEO has a responsibility to..... here are the operative words.......serve and “PROTECT” and that doesn’t mean protect themselves. So what did you want the cop to do? Give him a warning without knowing anything about him, turn him loose and let him drive his car a couple of miles into a crowded sidewalk and kill a few people? Sorry, the perp escalated the situation, he grabbed the cops arm, turned the ignition on and put the car in drive. He was fleeing and the question to you is.........WHY?
Yup. Most Americans cheered Waco and a machine gun in Elian's face. And Abu Ghraib.
Not only can it happen here. It already has. :(
Or drivers that they stop?
Give him a warning without knowing anything about him, turn him loose and let him drive his car a couple of miles into a crowded sidewalk and kill a few people?
I'm not saying the stop wasn't justified, maybe it was. But even if he was driving off, that justified shooting him? Why is deadly force the first choice and not the last one?
He was fleeing and the question to you is.........WHY?
While we're asking why, then why did the officer feel the need to falsify his report and say he was dragged?
The guy is drunk. Has a pint of gin. No license. Attempts to flee IN the car while the officer is struggling to get the seatbelt off. Not sure what happened but geesh....
No, don’t do that. Answer my question, He was fleeing, WHY? And if YOU don’t have a reasonable answer then I would suspect the cop didn’t either, he could only surmise the worst, had only a split second to think about WHY a perp grabbed his arm, and was taking off.
Problem for who? You or me? Who would not be so stupid a to attempt to flee?
Problem for a career criminal with 60 arrests?
I’d say the problem was for the cop who got caught red handed shooting a member of a protected class.
I was just watching Megyn kelly’s show where she had Mark Fermin on as a guest. This man I find to be very intelligent and fair, and I respect his opinion quite a bit.
He basically said that he thinks the officers gun discharged accidentally, which I also think, and that he then tried to turn an accidental shooting into a justifiable shooting by citing that the driver was trying to run him over, which I do not see any evidence of on the video.
Personally, I think his gun did go off by accident. It appears to be an accidental discharge in the video. I don’t think he intended to kill the man, but he did kill the man. I think murder might be an overcharge, but I don’t think this was a justifiable shooting, so we will see what happens with the trial.
The dead fool had a 3000 pound weapon. He was revving the engine. How does the officer know if the fool will slam in reverse then try to runt he officer down? Bury the dead fool and take the officer off of the street for a few weeks. he probably saved someone’s life down the road from a driving while extremely drunken fool.
“How does the officer know if the fool will slam in reverse then try to runt he officer down?”
The officer doesn’t know. No one can predict the future.
What the officer did know is that the man didn’t slam it in reverse and then try to run him down.
Listen, I am a boot-licking copsucker.
There is a problem with this shooting.
I don’t think he intended to kill the man, but he did kill the man, and yeah the man was not a good guy, but did he deserve to be shot in the head at that moment? I don’t think so.
The officer wrote in his report he fired because he was being dragged, and while the car *was* in gear, it didn’t move until the driver was shot in the head. The officer was not in any danger. The fact that he falsified the report indicates that he knew that.
Yes indeed. And they will make good little quislings in the future.
So, with that logic, why don’t we just kill everyone who runs or drives away suddenly from the police?
All those car chase scenes on TV, gone, if the cops can just pull out a gun and shoot them all.
Sheesh...you people scare me.
