It is said to have been an internal poll conducted by one of Donald Trump’s GOP rivals. (one of the campaigns that is currently cash-rich but tepid in the polls) A quick “test the water” outline in some of the more critical battleground states. What came back stunned not only the campaign, but sent ripples through various Democratic operatives as well who have since been sending out the alarm – Donald Trump is appealing to minority voters in a way not seen by any Republican of the modern era. It is a base of support cutting through a cross-section of normally divided demographics that could result in a 2016 Trump Landslide.
“It’s still hush-hush, but enough mouths are moving to make it credible. It apparently started with some Florida numbers by the leading candidate down there. They had been warned their numbers were slipping and the campaign decided to confirm. They received more than confirmation. What they came back with were numbers that elevated Donald Trump’s support among minorities beyond anything they thought was possible. This initiated an order of three more internal polls of other battleground states and the results were very similar – Donald Trump is making significant gains across the board with minority voters.
In just two months he has done what Republicans have been crying about doing for the last several years. It’s remarkable. It also means the media, who likely already knows about the polling data, will be throwing everything they can at the Trump campaign to topple it once and for all. They cannot allow a candidate who is overturning all of the established rules of what a Republican is and isn’t.
Democrats want him gone. Republicans want him gone. The only ones who appear to want him to stay is a growing number of supporters representing a surprisingly large percentage of the American public.”

Trump survived that moment because he didn’t apologize.
That’s how the media control you, then criticize, badger you until you bow down and apologize, until it becomes a Pavlovian response where you immediately apologize the moment they furrow an eyebrow at you. That’s how all the politicians gets trained when they show up in DC.
They media tried it with Trump and he told them to take a hike, that’s when the people knew he wasn’t going to become a docile puppy, but an Alpha dog, and people are drawn to Alpha dogs.

Amazing how many politicians don't understand this, especially Conservative ones. Most Liberal politicians understand this.

Gotcha questions. Amazing how far journalism has fallen. Obama got one gotcha question in 6 1/2 years and we all saw how he just reacted.
Trump's big surge will make him a target from everyone including the MSM. If he can navigate the first debate with some degree of success, he will be hard to beat. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing, but it will shake the GOP to the core. That's the good part.
Bernie Sanders has now taken up that message as well. I am sure the Dems from their own polls see how that message is resonating.
Social issues are not even in the top 5 in every poll I have seen. People are worried much more about jobs, violent illegals, Obamacare, Education, foreign trade, and military.

I love Cruz, but if he can’t break out of 4%, he won’t be the Guy.
Cruz has beltway stink on him. He can win every debate but still won’t be able to wash off all the damage from the triple team brutal attacks by RINOs/Dems/MSM.
If he can get the LIV single females on board, his challengers might as well drop out. I pray to God he doesn’t start pandering and sacrificing conservative principles just to get votes because his popularity is for NOT having done these things!!!

Ha! obama is never going away. Anyone who wins the next election, if there is one——(this is the one time I think a sitting president would cancel an election as obama has utter contempt for the law). obama is going to stick his racial crap into anything that might threaten his changes. Now I see Trump and Cruz as the only candidates who would tell the former emperor to go to hell.

Bingo! Employed, church-going blacks are sick of being lumped together with gangsta thugs; likewise legal immigrants with illegals.
Lumping and pandering is what Dems and RINOs do, and Trump seems to get it. It’s not about race, it’s about class. Capitalism presents the best opportunity to elevate one’s class status, and Trump is an unapologetic capitalist. He’s not trying to “oppress” the working class; he’s saying, “work hard, work smart, and you can be prosperous like me.” I think this is part of what people are picking up on; he’s threatening to derail the socialist pity-party agenda.
