Those are the numbers propagated by the lying lamestream media. The drivebys are also trying to persuade the gullible that the economy is doing great. Those claims are not the reality.

Conservatives refuse to buy the lies from the enemy media. Crime rates have soared since hussein illegally seized control of the Republic. In particular crimes against whites by Mexicans and blacks are at stratospheric levels ad evidenced by the mob violence of "polar bear hunting" and the "knock out game". Add to that the mass shooting by mooselimbs. The situation is just terrible and it will take a Reaganeque leader to restore a sane and safe America from these perilous times.

The ease and ubiquity of instant communication means that we hear about every little infraction, many of which we never would have been aware of in the past, almost in real time. That creates the perception that crime is rampant.

I have not heard that crime is at "all-time lows." I doubt that completely.

You may mean that crime is down from all-time highs in the period from the mid-60's, culminating in the highest rates in the mid-90's.

Most of us were adults back in the mid-90's, as well, so remember the time well.The drop in crime rates are a result, primarily, of demographic changes, with far fewer of the population being in the prime years of criminal activity. The increase in the states that allow and will issue concealed-carry permits made a difference, as well as the end of 1970's lenient sentencing for violent crime.

If crime rates are down now, it's due in some part to getting serious about rising crimes rates in the 80's-90's. That's no reason to get complacent or argue that concern about crime is misguided.

No serious person would argue that crime rates are lower because society has gotten better at respecting the lives and property of others.
