The University of Cincinnati is reportedly closed down this afternoon as police officers prepare for potential riots over the death of an unarmed man who was killed by university cops during a traffic stop last week.
Samuel Dubose, 43, who is black, was shot and killed by white UC Officer Ray Tensing after Tensing reported that he was dragged by Duboses vehicle and had to fire. The shooting, called not good by Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell, was captured on Tensings body camera and is set to be released today:

No. I understand, separate and apart from the
video that he lied on his report.
Even if BIG IF the shooting was justified, falsifying a police report will get you in trouble every time. If in fact that was also even done.
I agree. About the false report assertions. But did he really lie on the police report? Have you seen a police report?
Perhaps this is a trumped up lie designed to lynch this cop in the court of popular opinion.
There ya go. You win the ` All cops are scum` post of the day!
Yes, I saw it and read it. But the link which provided the report, I think it was PFD format, is gone.☺
Btw, dispatch also has audio of the cop after the incident saying he was dragging me, I had to shoot him.
The suspect was already dead.
Also they have statements from another officer who said “He told me repeatedly he was being dragged by the vehicle and had to fire his weapon.
I guess Dubose would be the first dead guy to turn on a key, put the car in gear and drive a block down the street.
Thank you all! I've worked hard for this honor.
I'd like to thank my parents, my lawyer, the half trained trigger happy county mounties in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the corrupt cops in Chicago I bribed, the drunken state trooper I watched roll his car, and his buddies who made sure no one got a chance to test him. I'd go on, but the said only 30 seconds.
Yes, after 50 years of this, there is all this irrational bigotry.
Also they have another officer who stated he saw the suspect vehicle *dragging* the officer who then had to fire a single shot into the suspects brain.
That’s not what happened. Fact is the officer was standing when the suspect was shot to death.
Dead men don’t drive.
It was a dead man in the drivers seat of the Honda when it went down the hill crashing near the corner into an overgrown bushy area. No one had control of that vehicle.
You forgot to thank all the puppies!
All he had to do was listen to the cop and he would be alive right now.
Not if you read all those old police reports. The Dead are capable of any number of post mortem acts. They draw antique guns from the trunk of the police cruiser and die clutching them. Common miracle.
Maybe you could kick up the dust of deceit a bit more.
Repeatedly stated by the officer shooter and his partners, He was being dragged by the vehicle and had to fire his weapon."
How does that work when the officer was standing when the suspect was shot to death?
Have I written any lies?
No matter what happens in the end the actions of the police officer was not criminal. It was not murder, that is ridiculous. There may be grounds for a civil suit but not criminal.
Boy, this incident sure makes the case for body cameras.
Just my point of view, the guy was going to take off and the cop shot him. Not guilty. When are people going to realize driving an escaping vehicle is a weapon of mass destruction?
They're busing in a bunch of Baltimore cops to teach the Cinci Cops how to properly not do anything.
You can’t falsify statements and or reports. There is only one reason or motive one would do so. And that is to fabricate or bend the truth to fit a scenario in an effort to legitimize the shoot or your actions.
Big league criminal charges can follow. A real big no no.
where is the media;s outrage over graves being dug up or a white family being killed in their own home due to them having a flag, or how about a black man ran off the road and killed by other blacks over the black guy flying a confederate flag?
