Trump Schools the Republican Establishment
Politico ^ | July 28, 2015 | Matt Latimer

"Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably,” the great Homer Simpson once observed. “The lesson is: never try.” That’s probably how the so-called “smart set” within the Republican Party feels these days. Ever since Mitt Romney’s 2012 defeat—a loss that caught everyone off guard except for people who followed public opinion polls or read a newspaper—we Republicans were promised a tough, new approach to the presidential primary process.

Trump is like Godzilla. He is a creation of the hubris of the GOPe. I hope he does as much damage to the GOPe as Godzilla does to Tokyo. As the Northeast Corridor Elite keeps on attacking Trump the more I am liking him. The stunts McConnell/Boehner did this week has done nothing but throw more gasoline on the Trump fire.

Trump is saying what many of us are thinking.

Godzilla? There is a comparison even Trump would approve of. Fire breathing T-rex

He is the result of the disillusionment that Americans who tsunamied Republicans back into the House and into the Senate in 2014 experienced from those quislings who completely misinterpreted (or just plain refuses) what they were told to do.

While he IS a creation of the GOPe its not what you make it out to be. He is a tool of the UNI-party to split the conservative vote.. AGAIN.... so that they can nominate a Bush or Rubio or some other UNI-Party hack..

What better way to attract conservatives that want nothing more than to destroy the GOPe than get a bombastic fool out there to make a scene. Trump is BAIT. Pure and simple

Mr Robinson...

More of these folks... Have you guys done any work to track their IP’s? We cannot allow these hacks to use FR as a tool of the uni-party again...

again with the 1998 accounts... It almost never fails... These accounts are almost always under the control of someone working against our best interests (which means FOR the UNI-Party)

Trump is no one’s buttboy. Like him or hate him he’s not part of some secret cabal to split the conservative vote. Trump is for Trump. Nothing in his past would support such conspiracy double think. Sometimes things are just what they appear to be.

Sadly the Republicans have as a Party lost their fighting spirit. They have become a bit too comfortable holding majorities in Congress and accommodating Obama and his media enablers. Trump, Cruz, and Huckabee if nothing else stir the pot and remind people that there are titanic issues to be decided.

The Republicans despite controlling Congress are confronted with an aggressive Administration that is ruthlessly implementing its “progressive” agenda. It simply ignores laws it does not like and creates new laws via administrative rules and regulations. Republican leaders simply do no have the skills and power to respond effectively. Mavericks like Trump and Cruz are very necessary mavericks needed to counter the Obama acolytes.

You mean they were actually supposed to be an opposing party to the President’s agenda to radically transform the country? /s

If he wishes to school the Republican establishment, he’ll have to include the Democrats, too. All of them.

They’re all members of the us vs. them political elite establishment, and all impervious to the public will.

FYI
Trumps older sister is a federal appeals court judge appointed by Reagan and promoted by Clinton. She spoke in behalf of Alito appointment to SC justice. Family has strong conservative ties

Family also has strong Liberal ties.

Trump, himself is / was recently a democrat. Has been an avid supporter of Hillary.

Has a good enough relationship with the liberal media machine to have had his own show.

This man is a tool. A joker. a CON MAN. and while Im sure there are some among us that genuinely believe he is “kicking uni-arty ass” there are MORE here, that know he is a nothing but a temp hire of the uni-party to split the conservative vote.

Too seldom do Americans even dare/think? to question whether or not we even need a potus/emperor, dictator, king/queen, spendthrifts, etc., let alone , a presidential palace in the capital of the “land of the free and home of the brave”!

I really wonder if an abandoned strip mall encircled w/razor wire would be more fitting. Protected by our Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Marines, (all armed, btw)!

All this before even mentioning congress and the supremes, and the countless alphabet agencies who lord it over the rest of us who pay their tab!
The quotes of many of the “founding fathers come to mind.
And, lifetime retirement at an extreme level for all hands, lifetime secret service protection, etc….. There I go again!

Perhaps only a …president Trump… would consider changing the entire location into a giant new disneyLand/vegas…(shades of Stranger In A Strange Land).

Or, just bulldoze the whole freakin place! Chalk it all up to bad decisions and bad experiences. Bad management!

Nuff said, what do you–we the folks– think, pray tell…???

Trump is not going to be used by anyone — his ego is too big for that. Trump is a user, not a ‘usee’.

I take it you like conspiracy theories. Methinks you are overthinking this. It’s really much more simple. Trump wants to make America great again.

There are sixteen Republicans running for President and only Trump is splitting the conservative vote?

Excuse me. Not sure about any other 1998 account but I’m living proof you’re painting with too wide a brush sonny. Go ahead. Ask Jim.
