Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)96% has filed a motion aimed at unseating Boehner immediately as Speaker of the House.
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) has filed a motion to try to force Speaker John Boehner from his leadership post, Politico wrote in a breaking news alert. The move, called a motion to vacate the chair, represents a new level of opposition to GOP leadership from the conservative wing of the House Republican Conference. The motion can be postponed for several days before consideration.
Its unclear if this will be successful, but over the past few years there have been two major coup attempts at Boehner. Both were unsuccessfulbut extraordinarily close to succeedingand centered around plays at the beginning of this Congress and the beginning of the last Congress.
This move will focus on centering around a different strategy, and it all comes after Boehners leadership team unsuccessfully attempted retaliation against Meadows for opposing Obamatrade. They had tried to pull a subcommittee chairmanship from Meadowsand did so, but then reversed themselves under enormous pressure from the GOP conference and the American people, turning Meadows into a conservative movement hero of sorts.
Boehners office has not immediately responded to a request for comment but conservative movement stalwarts including nationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin have called for his ouster in recent days.
Meadows is a highly respected conservative member of the House and is intricately involved in the House Freedom Caucus. Hes plugged in party-wide, and wouldnt be doing this if he didnt think it could be successful.

I agree. I don’t know anything about Meadows, but anything would be better than the Boner.
What then?
Furthermore He's COMMENTS CENCORED
“Whereas the Speaker has, through inaction, caused the power of Congress to atrophy, thereby making Congress subservient to the Executive and Judicial branches, diminishing the voice of the American People;”
General McClellan had raised a powerful army, but seemed disinclined to actually seek battle. So Lincoln sent him a letter: My dear McClellan: If you dont want to use the Army I should like to borrow it for a while.
This thread is going to be boring. I predict no one is going to support Bonner.
We will find virtually none are with us.
.
Way to go!
.
Head’s up....Mark Levin will have Rep Mark Meadows on his show, tonight.
Goldman Sachs
Who’s wife worked for them? My Memory is fuzzy...I think she was a member of the CFR until shortly....I have dementia so excuse my faulty memory.
Even if he Fails another Congressman can do the same thing, if he Fails, another, if he Fails, another etc
My Critter has heard plenty from me and many of his constituents and he has been on Defense since his Cromnibus vote... and with all of us we tell him he has to throw away the Bohner kneepads and grow a sack.
I told him to take me off his freaking mailing list, I will no longer contribute or campaign for him and actively search for his replacement. I went door to door for that POS and he screwed us all for a Gavel from Bohner. This may be a way for him to get even w Bohner and get folks like me off his back (Still won’t campaign for him, may cut him a little slack) .
We shall see how many critters grow a pair.
I think McConnell is much worst than Boehner. I would open a bottle of champagne if he was replaced by a great senator.
Ok I’ll bite.
He has a great spray tan?
He cries well?
He likes golf?
Oh well, nevermind......
Mark is on it NOW!
I may have something to do with the Golden Child of FR...not sure....fuzzy
I am listening to Mark Levin right now.
Per Mark Levin: Everyone call your House rep. Be polite and civil and tell them to support Mark Meadows in removing the Speaker of the House. Tell them this is a vital issue. Call and fill up their mail boxes. Mark Meadows will be on his program in a few minutes.
