Just a day after allegations reemerged that Donald Trump raped his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, the bombastic billionaire’s former spouse played down the controversy, saying that the two are still “the best of friends.”

“Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign,” she said.
“Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president,” Ivana Trump, who divorced her husband in 1992, added.

As soon as anyone doesn’t toe the line 100% they accuse bias and attack.
I understand it’s a natural defense mechanism, heck I’m guilty some times. However some people around here believe FNC ought to read FR, and report ONLY our opinion.
FNC has never claimed to be 100% conservative, 100% of the time. Why someone would believe that everyone on air there would be 100% in lockstep with them is beyond me.
I know Meagan has been fair with every candidate she has interviewed so far, and now some are calling her “Candy Crowley”. Going so far as saying she is going to torpedo candidates in the debate.
Did anyone take into consideration that Meagan may believe what many on this board believe, that trump deserves a wary eye due to his past actions and statements? Maybe she’s a Walker supporter. or a Cruz supporter? She is fighting hard on the PP scandal.
Last night the story on Ivana was breaking being reported everywhere, including being posted to FR 2-3 times.
FNC is also today reporting the comments from Ivana that she never felt that way, and she still loves Trump as a friend and coworker. A lot of people were very quick last night to start slamming Ivana in very nasty ways.
If this is standard operating practice for all Conservatives, to attack, with all the vitriol you can muster, any one that doesn’t agree with you 100% on any issue, we can kiss the hope of any Conservative candidate goodbye. I guarantee the Jeb supporters don’t care, and are voting for his NAME. Just like Hillary supporters, they don’t pay attention to anything other than name.
I’m a Cruz guy. Does that mean I can’t also think Walker, Carson, Fiorina, Jindal, wouldn’t also make honorable presidents that I could be proud of?
Don’t like FNC fine, don’t watch, but if viewership drops enough, the fact that Conservative ideas make the TV airwaves at all goes away with them.
