Donald Trump was on with Cavuto today and doubled down on his earlier comments, saying the country has enough problems and it doesn’t need an obnoxious blowhard like Pamela Geller starting trouble when there is no need for it.

Why should a thread be pulled just because the article wasn’t posted back in May when Trump was doing CAIR’s dirty work? Back in May, Trump was just your average media hound trying to make his next buck off his controversies, so no one bothered to post his latest ramblings. Now he’s running for president, and (falsely) claiming to be a conservative, so it behooves us to consider all of his statements, not just the ones from the last couple of months when he started to pretend that he’s a conservative.
Remember, unlike almost all of the other presidential candidates, Trump has never *done* anything that can help us glean his political ideology. We just have his words on which to judge him. Why should we limit ourselves only to those wiords that he and his fans want us to hear, and ignore the words that he and his fans want us to forget? And his comments about Pamela Gelker (a brave America that refuses to back down from Islamists despite the obvious danger that it creates for her) are less than three months old, so we’re not talking about ancient history.
So, my two cents are that the thread should stay on News/Activism or Extended News. Oh, and that Scott Walker, Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal are the real conservatives in the race.

I don’t think I’ve heard him speak about the middle east and militant Islamic terrorists - ISIS/Muslim Brotherhood, etc., and terrorists in this country. Maybe I missed that?How much business does he do in those Arabic countries? Would that make a difference in how he would deal with those countries to keep us safe? I really don’t know the answer to these questions but I need to find out.
Jim R....this is NOT a new story. It is old news, from the time that event was held. I watch Cavuto show on Fox all the time, and can’t even remember seeing this.

To be fair, that remark came when he was talking about our healthcare system, referring to a need for a safety net for the poor who cannot afford health care.
Which, well, begs further questions and explanations, but is was a specific brush, not a broad one.

Lifelong liberal Donald Trump is on record as saying, "I probably identify more as Democrat".
His verbal attack on Geller certainly lends credence to that thought.
