Awarding the Purple Heart to the five brave American military men who were murdered by an Islamic terrorist is a no-brainer, unless you're in the politically-correct Obama Administration. These brave men were attacked on our soil by someone following the ISIS lead. His attack on our members of military was an act of war. Our government will hem and haw over something obvious and we, as patriotic Americans, are getting awful testy over nitpicky words, putting a cushion around evil Islam, and putting our military members secondary. Award the Purple Heart now!

If muslims claim that the sky is brown, I would expect Obama to issue an order stating so. And if you disagree, that would be a hate crime.
Obama only cares about muslims, and does not give a damn about Americans. The only thing he feels for Americans is contempt and it shows in EVERY SINGLE THING he does or says.
The bastard got three Purple Hearts in four months and came home because of the three PH policy and never spent time in a hospital.
These brave men deserve all honors that can be bestowed on them. Unfortunately they don’t look like their C&C son if he had one, so it isn’t going to happen.

I hope not. He would be wrong to do that. Like it or not, the traditional meaning of the Purple Heart has always been the same : death or serious injury in battle against the known enemy, or in an environment where known enemy action is possible.
Since radical islam terrorism in not yet a known or recognized enemy within the continental United States, according to our commander-in-chief, cheapening a medal earned dearly is simply not possible.
Criminal negligence by said "commander"-in-chief, on the other hand, is a treasonous impeachable offence. Or should be, in a sane country governed by men of ethics and character.

There should be no question here of decedents’ eligibility for fatal injuries sustained in a Gen 4 war — which is a war perforce, Grotius and the old rules notwithstanding.
