On 4/23/2007, Jim Robinson posted a manifesto, "Giuliani as the GOP presidential nominee would be a dagger in the heart of the conservative movement" (and a knife in the back) . The thread was subtitled, "The only difference in a Liberal Rudy Giuliani and Liberal Hillary Clinton is the fact of which bathrooms they select to use and there are some who are willing to even question that.
don’t forget ... housewife, modmin, admin ...
While I agree with you on Trump - who is not a conservative and has made other attempts at running for office where he washed out because it was clear that he was just a mouth with no mind, and not even a conservative mouth. - I don’t think JR eliminated Rudy supporters as such, but just because they were such pests.
Trump posters are falling into the pest category, btw.
Wait.. you think FR is a BLOG?
Really?
That's like thinking Exxon is the gas can in your garage.
Blog indeed.
Good post. My thinking, too.
Absolutely and until we can start looking at people as people instead of candidates who are supposed to follow some sort of rule book and start looking beyond republican/democrat I am afraid it will be just more of the same.
There are a lot of flame throwers here on FR that, frankly, have no idea what they are talking about. They do no research on their and own and just pick apart sentences or singular words to make their cases. In fact, they don't try to make a case for someone they are in favor of. They only throw darts at candidates and/or posters they don't like.
HA!
ken....come back! Don’t post and run....you’ve got replies! Even one from The Boss, himself!
Those are secondary commands by the subsection secret quarantine commander!
I’m not cleared for those!
FR is the grandpappy of all blogs... and social networks.
But it should/will happen at a later date?
Frankly speaking, I don't think any supporter of anyone other than a democrat should be shown the door, unless of course they are disruptive.. But it's not my website and it's certainly not my call. I believe this constant eating of ones own, will keep the party weak and with weak opposition to the dems we get what we deserve.
Oh come on man!
:)
Yah, if Trump can sprinkle a little testosterone
over the GOP contingent then I can tolerate him
but he is no conservative in my book. He is
the anti status quo candidate for now.
Actually he is Mcgruff.
He’s a Northeastern populist, currently a republican.
Giuliani is a reasonable comp. So is Bill O’really.
And thus qualified to giving their upstart arses a whooping from time to time.
Buncha punks.
Poor ol’ ken...he thought he had JimRob. He thought he’d really found something - a “gotcha” of sorts - for JimRob and those dastardly “Trump Supporters”.
Foiled, again.
So was Ronald Reagan. I reserve my assessment of the qualifications of Mr. Trump until after I know more about his thoughts on more than just the border problems. For now I am just enjoying the show. I've met a lot of people who have "evolved" from liberal brain washing.
If he is the Republican candidate for president Republican Party leaders won't get their usual cut of campaign contributions.
IMO.
