CNN’s Jake Tapper confronted Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio this afternoon over his (and Donald Trump‘s) refusal to give up the “preposterous notion” that President Obama wasn’t born in the United States and that his birth certificate was forged.
He asked Arpaio why he would risk his credibility on issues like immigration by sticking by this conspiracy theory. Arpaio said, “I don’t care where he came from, we’re working on a fraudulent, forged government document.”
An incredulous Tapper asked Arpaio if any respectable law enforcement official agrees with him on this. Arpaio boasted that he’s willing to look into something that everyone else will shy away from.
In fact, Arpaio said, he wouldn’t be stupid enough to go on national television and make such a claim if he wasn’t absolutely sure of himself.

Obama was a little bit too young at the time to give a valid first hand accounting for where he was born.
Any information that he has on the issue is hearsay.
If he was a foreign student he could only attend a US college on a foreign student visa. No one has been able to find a foreign student visa issued to Barack Obama, II but his father’s foreign student visas were released under Freedom of Information Act requests.
Unfortunately nobody has ever initiated a criminal investigation for document tampering to prove that in a court of law and Congress, which could also do a thorough forensic investigation, isn’t interested.

Both statements are true. Though it's possible such statements could be admissible nonetheless. For example, Rule 804 of the F.R.E. provides for when the declarant is unavailable to testify:
(b) The Exceptions. The following are not excluded by the rule against hearsay if the declarant is unavailable as a witness:
(4) Statement of Personal or Family History. A statement about:

(A) the declarant’s own birth, adoption, legitimacy, ancestry, marriage, divorce, relationship by blood, adoption, or marriage, or similar facts of personal or family history, even though the declarant had no way of acquiring personal knowledge about that fact[.]
Now, it's near impossible to conceive of a situation wherein this issue could arise which wouldn't be handled simply by offering a COLB (i.e., it would require a party needing to prove the circumstances of birth who could not otherwise procure a birth certificate).
But, theoretically, Obama's statements could be admissible.

While I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, (I did play one in the 6th grade, though) it would seem to me that legal (or otherwise) recognition of the “birth certificate” as fradulent, could give anyone who saw their medical premiums rise because of Obamacare, standing to sue for fraud (or some other reason).
Discovery in one of those cases - if you could find a judge that wouldn’t dismiss it out of hand - would become very interesting.

I think you know very well that Obama’s passports and papers have been thoroughly messed with, and destroyed when that was more convenient. And one of the guys who did that for him in the State Department was subsequently killed. And his academic records have all been withheld and destroyed.
Moreover, although we don’t know for sure that he was born in Kenya, there is plenty of evidence that both the short-form COLB and the long-form COLB that he released only on-line, and not as an actual piece of paper, are forgeries. Indeed, the COLB he released after the raid on bin Ladin is not even a careful forgery. But of course the press and the Republicans and the rest pretend that the matter is settled.
There was a thorough discussion of these issues earlier, and it’s obvious that Obama’s so-called birth certificate is a fake.
Moreover, Obama became an Indonesian citizen when he was adopted by his stepfather, thus giving up any right to American citizenship, and there is no evidence that he ever applied again to be an American.
Arpaio may have been fooled by pretended further details. But he did a good job laying out the facts of the forgeries some time ago. But of course the press isn’t interested, nor are the Quisling Republicans.
There aren’t any records. Neil Abercrombie told his friend Mike Evans that his team had gone to the HI hospitals with a search warrant and there is not any birth record for Obama in any of the hospitals there. That was apparently only after he had already checked the HDOH records and couldn’t find anything there. He told a Honolulu Advertiser columnist that his investigation had found something actually written down in the archives...
Remember that Abercrombie said all this BEFORE he told his HDOH director who he had just appointed (Neal Palafox) that he had to resign (complete with his AG David Louie feeding the media rumors about Palafox maybe being investigated on trumped-up fraud charges...) and replaced him with Loretta Fuddy, who promptly broke every law in the book to forge/fabricate documents and keep the statutes from being obeyed in HI. Fuddy’s own Vital Records office would not legally verify any of the birth claims on the BC that Fuddy supposedly gave Obama (which he then had posted online). That’s because there is no legally-valid birth certificate for Obama in Hawaii. He CAN’T release anything from there.
In addition, Mike Zullo went to the HI hospital in which Obama was supposedly born and was told there was in existence a log of women who had entered the delivery room to give birth - from back to that far. If Abercrombie went with a search warrant he would have been allowed to see that. The fact that he came away from that experience telling Mike Evans that there was nothing to prove a HI birth tells us that Obama’s mother was NOT found on any such list.
The whole story of Obama born in Hawaii is a fabrication.
When the public finally becomes aware of the lengths SOMEBODY went to, to pull off this fraud, they will realize just how badly screwed up the whole system is. When they figure out WHO took the system hostage to put this foreign enemy combatant into our White House they will understand everything he has done since being in office.
All of those allegations should be easy to prove in a criminal court of law or by a congressional investigation, right?
After all, its only been eight and a half years since Obama first announced that he was running for president on February 10, 2007.
Do you really believe that Obama is more skilled at hiding records than the NSA, the State Department or the U.S. military when there are the Wiki-leaks, the Edwards Snowdens and the Bradley Mannings of the hacker world who can get into even the most Top Secret files of this nation?
A court of law where almost all the judges are crooks or subject to blackmail? And the Justice Department is run by Obama’s pet crooks?
A congressional investigation with Boner in charge, with his hands out ready for more bribes?
That “something written down” in the archives just might be a form filled out by somebody who did one of those “home birth” delayed cert.
That could have been done anytime, given the corruption and collusion in that state and dept.

There are states in the union where you’d be hard pressed to find a liberal judge (Idaho and Wyoming, just to name two). Since Obama was on the ballot in all fifty states, an investigation for election fraud can be conducted anywhere.
John Boehner has no control over House investigative committees. That’s why Obama has been under constant investigation for Fast and Furious, Obamacare, Benghazi, the IRS-Tea Party scandal, et. cetera.
But I do admire your ability to come up with excuses for failure.

Or, just one person, attending physician David Sinclair, MD. did the Dunhams or Obama Senior a favor and filled out a birth certificate and had Stanley Ann Dunham sign it and he then submitted it to the state Health Bureau with all the other August 4, 1961 birth certificates from Kapi’olani Hospital and it was reported in the local newspapers and it remained in the vital records files for 47 years.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best...no grand conspiracy, just one person with access and authority helping out a friend.
