In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that was broadcasted tonight Republican candidate for president Donald Trump berated the reporter for continuing to address polls that shed him in a negative light instead of polls showing his upper-tier status.
"I am leading across the board," Trump said in the interview. "And then you hit me with this poll that I didn't see before, where oh, gee, it's not even that kind of a poll. All i know is I have a very big group of support. And I think one of the reasons."
"Let me tell you. The people don't trust you and the people don't trust the media. And I understand why," Trump lectured Cooper.

Excellent analysis.
I would only modify one line slightly (and you did use the word “positive” earlier):
“Unless there are measurable POSITIVE results it is all bs for Trump.”
There are, unfortunately, a great many negative results emanating from Washington these days.
Trump would do well to steer away from direct personal attacks, and instead hammer on the illusion vs. results / reality theme, with regard to his opponents.
This leads to a closely related point: Many voters, including many moderates and even some libs, believe that most if not all politicians are crooks, liars, ineffective, etc. Trump could, for example, pound on the façade of the usually-reported employment / unemployment numbers. Unemployment is claimed to be low, but most people still have a sense that much is NOT well. Some facts and figures from Mr. Trump could go a long way, here.
Additionally, Trump has focused on criminals coming in from Mexico, but a question that affects more people is: Why are we importing millions of cheap laborers from Mexico to compete with millions of our own citizens? In many millions of cases, our citizens have simply left the job market: Is that good?
Or, the Donald could point at the US’ anemic economic growth, and compare to China (where it’s regarded as near disaster if growth falls under 7%.) Well, what the heck? Are the Chinese that superior to us, or is it our own leadership that has trapped us in a Japan-like economy? Who is responsible, and who is benefitting from a situation where the middle class is slowly being sucked dry, and ever more dependent on the government?
Trump should ask voters: Do YOU trust the government, which is sinking in debt, to have an ever larger role in taking care of you and your family? (Just look at what’s happening to the Social Security Disability Fund.) Or should we get back to an opportunity based economy which does not depend on the Government to hand out goodies to those it wishes to reward... and screw the rest.(?)
These are just a few ideas: I’m sure Mr. Trump has someone following large forums such as FR, and maybe some of you can think up even better “attacks” on “the political and monetary establishment” that will resonate with average voters, without being nasty or too “personal”. Make your ideas simple, straightforward, and easily presentable.
This by the way, is not so much to advance Mr. Trump, as it is to focus the country on reality vs. illusion.
AIDS?
BTW, one's just gotta love the proposed solution: Take more money that isn't there anymore (from the Retirement Fund) and plug it into the Disability Fund.
HIV?
Yeah, seems like he is going to the next phase. The “Trump is Presidential” phase. Visiting the border for example. Next will be visiting our wounded and ignored vets.
The criticism of him boils down to he’s reckless. So now he’s pivoting again. Showing that he can be presidential. Being the role. Its easy to put someone in a role they’re already fulfilling.
Fully expect to see him greeting foreign dignitaries at Trump Tower soon.
I don’t believe that any GOP nominee will be allowed to win Florida or Ohio by the Rat fraud machine but after shredding the Constitution like The Klown has whoever follows the Klown will be our first “President For Life” dictator. I would much rather that be Trump than Hillary.
Maybe he took the infected kielbasa.
What award did he win for that? Aren't homosexuals supposed to win awards for coming out?
You can’t be big in RE in NYC without kissing up to Democrat pols.
Good. Let’s get this war out in the open. The media is a branch of the Democrap party. Beginning, middle and end of story.
Well, Donald...no way I can argue with the truth.
Trump was too P.C.
It's not that conservatives don't trust the media. It's proven constantly that the media is the heart and soul minion worker bees for the Marxist eugenics underworld society of elites.
What is/has Walker done about the sanctuary cities in his own state?
Cooper is a rimming expert homo. Coprophilic behavior is unhealthy. It is a gay thing never talked about in public but practiced routinely in the closet.
Yep, educated people see the old media as an outlet for the lies of the left and the omission of stories of profound importance. Journalistic fraud is their modus operandi. How do we know this—lessons learned from the nazis, commies, and socialists.
He was desperately holding in a sperm fart during the Donald’s beat down. LOL.
“I agree . Trump is the only one that can save America.
I’ve never seen anyone like him ever.”
I have. RR during the 1980 campaign. He was more subtle and political though. He warned the voters about the GOP establishment and why they did not like him. He also knew the media and entertainment industries were infested with anti-Americans and communists. They savaged him as being “stupid” campy, pedantic, etc. It was because he believed in America and Americans. They hate him as they hate us.
BTTT
I’d rather hear him say,, “Obama, you are FIRED!!”
Cooper did not even defend himself when Trump said people did not trust the media. Cooper simply said :”Yes!.”
