Eighteen months ago, TAC publisher Ron Unz discovered an astonishing account of the role the 2008 Republican presidential nominee, John McCain, had played in suppressing information about what happened to American soldiers missing in action in Vietnam. Below, we present in full Sydney Schanbergs explosive story.

I guess it's what happens when you do things in a hurry. I'm rushing to get out of the house. Have a bunch of things to do today.
This very long, but great analysis, should be read by everyone who knows the GOP is no different than the Democrat Party.
Trump is the only one who has the money and the guts to take on the establishment and media. That is why EVERYONE is out to take him down. They want Clinton or Jeb, PERIOD.
So much of the entire McCain/Pentagon partnership covering up POW issues (inclusive with the later added Cold War and Korean War POWs, whom we now KNOW were taken to Moscow), is clouded by the potential of infiltration of our services, and intel by the Putin/KGB cabal... nee the Soviets.
It is why, when listening to Putin talk about McCain, at any time but particularly when Quadaffi was “taken down” so to speak in the “Libyan Spring” by our drones and “freedom fighters”(now known as ISIS in Syria/Iraq,certainly, thanks to the Benghazi gun running exposure and complicity of the black world), there is a tendency to accept the labels of the liberal media... because McCain was turned long ago in the Hanoi Hilton. It was pesky and labor intensive for the Pentagon to look up the lost POWs, and the more recent one that “turned up” Stephen Speicher (long lost US pilot from Iraq I).
McCain needs the protection of the Mil/Indust/Penatagon machinery he funds throug his committees, and... they need his so they can continue to obfuscate their incompetence and indeed...complete disregard of the honor of our lost POWs and their families. Reminded of this “alliance” even down to the exposure of the democrat Army bureaucrat who ran Arlington being exposed for what he was.
Upsets a great deal to see this, coupled with his continual cover and liberal “reach across” and pals with ultra- libs in the Senate gymnasium and steam room. A club of bought dogs most— and slim to none with any honor at all.
Peace to all those who still don’t know. As conservatives we must continue to call out “cutouts” for the Soviets, understanding that they could very well be “agents in place” hiding in plain sight.

“They are all dead.”
I’m inclined to agree with you. Today. They probably were not when Sen. Bob Smith was trying so hard to get to the bottom of it. Why wasn’t McCain supportive of a fellow Republican who wanted to get to the truth? Something isn’t right here.
But, that has been the way with McCain to others in his party right along, hasn’t it? He’s never been a hero, not in his military service, not in his congressional service.
I have no proof of anything, just a gut feeling. John McCain is not the man he pretends to be. My gut has a pretty good track record.

Exactly! No matter who wrote the article the events did happen.
McCain and Kerry stabbed the POWs and the MIA in the back.
What’s really disgusting is the way all the GOP candidates have called McCain an “American hero”. There is nothing about his record before, during, or after his capture that makes him a hero.
He crashed three million dollar planes before his capture that almost got men killed. His arms were broken by the parachute not from torture. Then when he hit the ground the favoritism started due to his old man being an admiral and McCain went right along with it. Heard some dunce on Fox this morning saying he was a hero because he could have been released earlier than the others but chose not to. Another lie. POWs are released in order of captivity. If one can leave early, it is always the one that has been in captivity the longest. For McCain to have left early would have meant he could have been brought up on charges. Since his release he had done everything possible to deny veterans benefits and has tried many times to cut the pay of active duty. And of course his shameful conduct in the MIA investigation. John McCain is a disgrace.
Hmmmm. Welllllll...., ummmmm. Ok I forgive you! LOL
Why what?
While McCain is a very imperfect human being, he’s hardly evil.
The families of many soldiers missing in action would disagree. They feel their loved ones were abandoned and McCain was instrumental in the cover-up.
There were many credible, first person sightings of MIAs. Separate reports agreed in terms of location and other details. The men were abandoned. That is evil.

What was McCain’s motive for covering up the location of MIAs?
If you notice, all or nearly all of the left-wing attacks on McCain were when he was running against the out-and-out communist Obama in the 2008 election.
McCain’s motives seemed to be political. Our government didn’t want us to know that hundreds of men were left behind in Vietnam. If McCain were to disagree he probably felt his political career would be over. Certainly they would try to discredit him. You can find more complete information here:

When the French lost their war there hundreds of prisoners were held back. Eventually the French paid ransom for them. It was generally felt we would be getting the rest of them back. If you read about the evidence it will make you sick.
BTW McCain was very cruel to some MIA families. He is an evil man.
