I love Brook. Do you happen to have The Oogum Boogum Song? That KIA commercial makes me long to hear the whole thing.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...glad you got your truck back and you will have a safe ride.
I had cataract surgery Thursday and couldn’t see well enough to use the computer. Able to see much better on Friday.
You and Bo have a great Saturday.

Friday night VFW report:
It was hard to find a seat, the place was packed.
Domino tables were full, pool tables where full, banquet hall was full.
Everyone was eating chicken fried steak, mashed taters, turnip greens, salad and chocolate cake.
North end if the bar had a serious round of “Ship, Captain, Crew” rolling as usual.
We retired after a few rounds played guitar, sang songs and drank beer.

Here's a rare Jimi track recorded at Mayfair Studios in London on July 19, 1967. It never made it to release until just recently when the Hendrix estate were convinced to put it on South Saturn Delta under the Experience Hendrix, LLC. label.
The structure is curious. Jimi obviously put a lot of thought into the first minute of the composition, never quite finding the hook (which is none-the-less there as a transition at the 42 second mark), it remained ultimately unfinished, devolving into an almost 4 minute "outro" jam which reminds me of mylife's VFW report. (he-he)
A version of the lick that leads into the outro did ultimately see life as the repetitious wah-wah hook to the popular theme of professional wrestling's nWo group featuring Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash throughout the 1990s and 2000s in what was one of wrestling's most popular and enduring story lines, so in a way, 10 seconds of this song did see massive popularity.
As years go by, more and more unfinished "vault classics" are coming to light which attest to the unfathomable output of Jimi's brief three and a half year career as a solo artist.

I’m as well as I’ll ever be I reckon myFRiend. Surgery on the 27th coming like a freight train and I’m trying to tie up loose ends and finish those unfinished projects. I’m being lazy regarding the Canteen this weekend, since all these songs are already uploaded for our rehearsals in September, but there’s more than a few rarities here I’ve never posted before. Stay tuned for lots of alternate versions from the Jimi vault.
