Employees of one small Missouri town had an extreme reaction when residents elected their first Black female mayor: 80% of the police department quit, along with the city clerk and two other staffers. And, according to the New York Times, no one seems to wants to guess, or even speculate about, the real reason for the mass exodus.
....The city attorney, clerk, and waste water treatment supervisor also resigned with the police officers. ...

Correction: A headline on an earlier version of this post on Facebook mistakenly stated that the entire police force had resigned it was 80%. We apologize for the error.

Was much commented on here when it happened.
Interesting, I figured it was a StL area town but it’s down on the river by Cape Girardeau, Mo (Rushtown), Cairo Ill, and Paducah Ky.
Put a wig on Forrest Whittaker...
It’s in the source article.
PARMA, MISSOURI
Election?.... voter fraud.. NAH it couldn’t have been..
Black ideologlic woman incompetent police Chief... nah..
Ballot box stuffing is quite common these days in some places..
The thing you don’t WANT to think about is...
2016 Presidential election ballot box stuffings...
Even; republican primary ballot box stuffings or some other form of fraud..
MAYBE............. several forms of it..
Democrats have become very very very good at it..
WHY?. not.. republicans could care less..
NEVERMIND.... next.. think of something ELSE...
that’s way to negative...
Lovely nostrils.
Thanks.
More like one political faction that had been sucking at the municipal check book for 40 years got beaten by another. Think about it. A town of 700 people has a six-member police department, a city attorney, a water treatments supervisor? I live near Lexington, a town almost seven times as big and which gets along with an eight member police force. I think that a lot of people had gotten pretty good salaries for some time without really earning it and suddenly realized the gravy train was over.
SALUTE!
Two of those individuals = the cops who quit= are Trish Cohen, Parma’s former police chief, and Rich Medley, the town’s former assistant police chief
Cohen has said she and Medley feared for their safety, since their home addresses had been shared online by Byrd’s family members
not race.....just apparent THUGGERY from the BYRD FAMILY!
Did she tell the plastic surgeonshe wanted a nose that looks like an a 6 intruders jet intake ?
Nothing is scarier than an angry black women with power. She looks like she’d punch an 88 year old grandmother as an act of ‘social justice’.
The reality is that race, today, brings things along with it that could create a poisonous, even dangerous, work atmosphere, particularly for LE.
The incontrovertible fact is that the majority of blacks in this country are Marxists. I wouldn't want to to work for a Marxist.
seems little in the way of facts made its way into the original story.....
...better for sniffing out dung beetles.
This is a perfect example of Eastern seaboard leftist race baiting.
The town is 700 people.
Here is what happened (from Wikipedia)
Byrd succeeded Randall Ramsey, who had been mayor of Parma for a total of 37 years. Shortly before Byrde was to be sworn in, four of the city’s six police officers resigned, along with the city’s clerk and the supervisor of water treatment.[9][10][11]
The story is the incredible distortion and sensationalism of the NY Times and other leftist urban media, such as Refinery29.
And, they still can’t do math even in their correction.
4 of six is 66% not 80.
Im betting they get huge when “flared”...
Cohen did not respond to a message seeking comment on social media Wednesday, and on Thursday her Facebook page appeared to have been taken down.
Reported by the Brits across the pond.
