Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul Not Worthy of Presidential Office
Obvious Reality | July 14th, 2015 | Self

Posted on 07/14/2015 8:11:06 AM PDT by Mariner

The Corker Bill on Iran passed the Senate on May 4th, 2015. The vote was 98-1. That bill reversed the number of votes required to enact the Iran "Treaty" from 67 to 34.

Every GOP Senator, including Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio voted for this Constitutional Atrocity.

Remember these votes when you choose who to vote for in the Primary and the General Election.

None of these men are worthy of the office after this betrayal of the American, and Israeli, people.

so before the bill the Senate would say ,Yes or No ,but now they have to pass it to say No and then have Obama sign it to Kill his Deal ,I can see why they want to remove the word Insane

Is there a reason we should take your assessment as accurate?

Nice vanity. Pending a proposed conservative alternative better than Ted Cruz, IBTZ is an option.

I find it highly difficult to believe any bill could reduce the requirements for treaty/deal approval from 67 to 34.

I could see deceitful maneuvering to something along the lines of a plurality of votes, but 34? No way.

From Ted Cruz April 24, 2015:

“Congress Must Approve Any Iran Deal”

“As currently written, the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 would first require Congress to pass a resolution of disapproval and then require Congress to muster votes from two-thirds of each chamber to override a Presidential veto. What’s more, if Congress failed to act within a set timeframe, the deal would go into effect by default. This process gets the Constitution’s allocation of authority precisely backwards.”

RE: Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul Not Worthy of Presidential Office

Let me guess, by the author’s lights, Barack Obama is EMINENTLY WORTHY of the Presidential Office? (OK got it).

Tom Cotton.

Here was Cruz’s explanation of his vote at the time:

Trump I suppose because he's safe in that he's never had a record to defend so we can trust him to...never mind.

I found the one lone patriot — Tom Cotton.

98-1... that tells me there’s more to the story than a half-sentence assessment by someone making sweeping declarations about treason and presidential qualifications. By your moronic way of thinking, Reagan was a traitor, too.

I don't think you understand the bill. Obama was opposed to it so that should tell you all you need to know.

So, my take on this is the only one to support for 2016 is Tom Cotton. All the others running not in the Senate didn’t get a chance to vote ‘yea’ on the Corker bill, and given that the vote was 98-1, with many surprise ‘yes’s, I’ll presume they would have voted with the majority.

I’m still for Cruz.
