It’s Soviet treatment. Too bad this judge does not have a Soviet mental hospital to put this politically incorrect man into.

““Therapy is more of an art than a science, and a new therapist may be what is needed in this case,” he said.””

Does this idiot judge have any idea what a REAL crime looks like? D’Souza doesn’t need ANOTHER therapist - the judge needs a new job...or a therapist of his own. What an arrogant POS.... This makes my stomach turn. I wish Dinesh would start hollering “RACIST” - draw attention to this creep and give him the publicity he deserves. Appointed by Clinton? Just great! How many more of these creeps are out there waiting for revenge for WHAT?

Didn’t he go to great lengths tho’ of defending his actions in this case? Sure a lot of protests coming from his mouth. Perhaps he really does need counseling of his own.

“What does that perceived authority portend for others who appear in his court?”

It will probably not be a problem, UNLESS they talk against The Great Won.

Why, how very Soviet of the black robe. Perhaps he could send him to a gulag.

All hail the black robes! They are more equal!

Soon they’ll lock up conservatives in mental asylums.

It's coming. But let's take a look at that statement, shall we? If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result, well, the truth is that we have voted "R" over and over again, expecting each time that they will actually represent us, then it seems to me that we ARE, in fact, the party to blame when they DO come for us.

We are in REALLY frightening territory now....

Wikipedia -- In the Soviet Union, a systematic political abuse of psychiatry took place and was based on the interpretation of political dissent as a psychiatric problem. It was called "psychopathological mechanisms" of dissent.

During the leadership of General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, psychiatry was used as a tool to eliminate political opponents ("dissidents") who openly expressed beliefs that contradicted official dogma. The term "philosophical intoxication" was widely used to diagnose mental disorders in cases where people disagreed with leaders and made them the target of criticism that used the writings by Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, and Vladimir Lenin. Article 58-10 of the Stalin Criminal Code—which as Article 70 had been shifted into the RSFSR Criminal Code of 1962—and Article 190-1 of the RSFSR Criminal Code along with the system of diagnosing mental illness, developed by academician Andrei Snezhnevsky, created the very preconditions under which non-standard beliefs could easily be transformed into a criminal case, and it, in its turn, into a psychiatric diagnosis. Anti-Soviet political behavior, in particular, being outspoken in opposition to the authorities, demonstrating for reform, writing books were defined in some persons as being simultaneously a criminal act (e.g., violation of Articles 70 or 190-1), a symptom (e.g., "delusion of reformism"), and a diagnosis (e.g., "sluggish schizophrenia"). Within the boundaries of the diagnostic category, the symptoms of pessimism, poor social adaptation and conflict with authorities were themselves sufficient for a formal diagnosis of "sluggish schizophrenia."

It would appear to a normal person that it’s the “judge” who needs “psych counseling”. A friggin’ nut!

“I prefer to believe that New York and the North East are the new Soviet Union.

If those states were purged, America could then eliminate California and do pretty well.”

If you keep Oregon with its 135K fines for believing the Bible and Wisconsin with its midnight Swat team raids on political opponents you are still screwed.

Judge is just psyhrink shopping. Eventually he will have D’Sousa assigned to the “right” one, who will declare D’Sousa insane.

D’Souza is a political prisoner of the Progressive Liberal Democrat/Rino Communist Party.

Soon there will be many many more, and we will sit back and watch the tyranny happen as we have so many times before.

It is our job (we the people) to depose a tyrannical gov’t and we fail to respond to our Constitutional duty thinking an election will fix it all, the communists have become stronger after each election for decades now, does anyone think they are going to allow fair and free elections to subvert their power now that they are thoroughly entrenched.

I suppose if this POS judge could arrange a lobotomy, he would do so.
This is shocking and has nothing to do with justice.

I can hardly wait for the Republican-appointed judge to deal with Sociopath Hillary...

If the GOPe still hasn't got it, perhaps they should all read The Art of Political War, by David Horowitz, one more time...

The Soviet Union abused psychiatry in that way. Those who didn’t see that they lived in a socialist paradise were diagnosed as having “sluggish schizophrenia”, drugged, electroshocked, locked up. No need for a trial for a dissident, if it is in the medical system.

Where is his lawyer, and why isn’t he/she fighting this?

No private citizen can fight an oppressive rogue government which can use our endless tax dollars to wield their infinite power.

But still, I'd think the Liberty Foundation could help some here... When I send them contributions instead, I send an FU note to the GOPe fundraiser envelopes.
