Ted Nugent and Kid Rock Team Up to Record ‘Kiss My Rebel Ass’

Ted Nugent and Kid Rock have teamed up to record a song in support of the Confederate flag. The song, titled “Kiss My Rebel Ass,” was reportedly written and recorded in the space of a day after Nugent, seeing that Kid Rock had invited anyone protesting his use of the flag at his concerts to “kiss my ass,” reached out to express his support via text message. “When you get a text from the Nuge, you know you’ve done something right,” laughed Rock during a joint appearance the two made on WWJ Newsradio 950. Added Nugent, “Rock ‘n’ roll ain’t supposed to be nice — it’s supposed to hit you upside the head with a tire iron, and that is exactly what this song does.”

Waving a confederate flag and using "country" lingo doesn't make them southerners anymore than Bruce Jenner changing his name to "Caitlyn" and dressing as a female makes him a woman. Kid Rock & Ted Nugent are posers and self-hating northerners.

Heck no. There are rebels everywhere. Just like there are yankees everywhere. Just substitute small government and big government with those terms respectively, and the picture is quite clear.
Rural people tend to be rebels. There are some minor differences between north and south but rural people are pretty much the same. Back when I ran traplines I used to sell hides to a true Georgia hillbilly near Stockbridge Michigan. Stepping into Willie's barn was like stepping into the northern Georgia hills. There were usually a half dozen old guys hanging around BSing and another 6 or 8 young guys doing the work and every one of them was full on deep south.
