LIVE coverage of the #StandWithTrumpAZ event! GOP Presidential hopeful Donald Trump will give a speech on illegal immigration among other topics at The Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Due to high ticket demand, Trump was forced to move the event from The Biltmore Resort. We will have live coverage inside and outside of the venue.
I’m really baffled at your misrepresentation of what was said. You go on to state you’ve watched the video and yet you still misrepresent.
What I heard him state was that obamacare has to go, and in tandem with that, he was illustrating that he wasn’t willing to just have people hanging out there with no ability to get some healthcare.
You paint it as if he broadly states that every damn loser will be taken care of and I have to believe that you know that is just YOU trying to be cute, due to your dislike/distrust of the man.
Norm, your tiresome ‘everyone told me I had to vote for the GOP’ is so boring, you really need some new material. Your desire to keep poking at Trump with the same lines over and over, isn’t going to shed light on your brilliance.
We’re all grown ups here, and I trust that people can discern for themselves who they will align with as more time passes.
On my way out, I’m guessing there will be responses with all the tag words; noob, idiot, fool, and all the nonsense of Trump fooling me - which I find most amusing, as you clearly have a line into everyone’s thinking and oh dear, how would I ever manage if you guys didn’t enlighten me!
I haven't misrepresented a thing. The man is for socialized medicine which is socialism. Along with that comes abuse of the system by deadbeats of all walks. It's happening now and it will happen should we be unfortunate enough to see this lifelong liberal democRAT become president. Deny that all you want, but it will remain true.
“I dont think the taxpayers deserve to adopt every illegal that crosses our borders.”
The taxpayers don’t. Try that in any other country see what happens to you... It won’t be good.
If you can’t show that you have financial support and a sponsor to take care of you in every country I have worked in (the count is up to 32 now).
Personally know a guy, a contractor, who was injured in a wreck. He was a brit,no insurance. He was cared for but and in the end his employer PAID. If you don’t have that sponsorship for entry, you ain’t going to get in.
Try getting hurt in Mexico, el salvador, guatemela etc. without means to pay? Ugly, you are gonna die.
Reaching Stars Caww! ..
Nah, just printing headlines and watching the latest political showing...It is fun watching Trump with the added entertainment of watching the GOP and media trying to figure out what to do about him..lololol
I think he will get more specific...but this too is generally timed as it’s so often showing ones hand. He’s on a roll so better to keep that going rather then get derailed by the press further....they’re already playing his hand for him.
What Trump supports
Repeal Obamacare, and the under laying medical system will go back to private enterprise where all US health insurance companies will be in competition, which will keep prices in check . Hell have to change (”Erasing borders”) the 1945 Mccarran Ferguson Act that lets individual states regulate insurance companies within their respective states.
Trump has to have a robust and good healthcare system to take on any subsidies to cover expansion for the poor. It could be any handled any number of ways, but that’s a long ways away. We can’t comment on these in any meaningful way until or if we get there. First, repeal government mandated Obamacare that penalizes and punishes citizens. Trump is very likely going to chop the dizzying number of Obama regulations from the baneful EPA to the FDA. He may be able to chop many government agencies, for example, the Dept of Energy. There won’t be any increases in taxes in a robust economy as the tax base in existence will take in gobs more revenue.
Trump put a lot of pans on the fire today and turned up the heat....
Did you watch him with the press afterwards? That too was entertaining to watch him operate. Funny when they thought they were “entitled” to a second question and he just moved along to the next person.
They just keep trying to back him in a corner and he moves right by them every time...
Trumps right about most everything....it will be interesting to hear what “Plans” he has in how he’s going to accomplish these things.
You actually believe that was an apology .
tHAT IS SUPER COOL!!
I think Fox has already received marching orders to marginalize him. They had that woman Susan Edrich accusing him of calling “all” Mexicans “rapists,” without correction and no balance at all. And they had that idiotic “Republican panel” with all those New York Republicans insulting Trump, and the Fox talking head asked questions on it as if that represented the feelings of most voters.
It’s a common error that Machiavelli was a real evil guy. You can’t understand The Prince without reading his Discourses on Livy. It’s clear that Machiavelli was lampooning the governments of his age. Machiavelli, as seen in Livy, believed that the Republic was the idea form of government based on his studies of Pre-Caesar Rome. He advocated a Senate representing the money power, a parallel of the House of Representatives meant to represent the common people, and an Executive branch.
I’m with you on that.
You know, this is the first time most of us have every heard Trump expound on issues.
He’s made other comments about things, and some folks are taking him to task on some of them. That’s okay. That’s fair.
I’ll tell you what, he is the closest thing to a FReeper in these presentations I’ve ever seen.
I didn’t stick around for that. I’ll check out the YouTube video. I would like to see it.
M-F Fox News is the best I can find.
Weekends ... Judge Jeannine is the only program I watch or TIVO.
I will sometimes watch Fox News Sunday when I want to see the guests.
How many FReepers support Universal Healthcare? He thumbed his nose at conservatives by name on that today in Phoenix, in the midst of all the red meat populist demagoguery. Flat out said he can do socialism better than Obama.
I’m enjoying the spectacle of Trump’s filleting of the Democrat, Republican, media, and corporate establishments as much as anyone. But I certainly don’t mistake the Donald for an actual conservative.
What he said was, he needs to do away with Obamacare right away.
He then said it could be replaced with something better.
You heard, “I will introduce DonaldCare.” He didn’t say that.
His solution may contain a large private sector component.
Until he explains, I think you’re jumping to a conclusion you don’t need to.
Do you think he’ll work out to be less of a Conservative than Bush? Somehow we survived that guy.
Trump wants to rebuild the military. What Republican have you heard say that in the last decade?
I can understand you being leery. I’m leery. This will play out. We’ll know if he’s the real deal in time.
If he’s not, we don’t have to vote for him.
Really? I heard him say with my own ears that “we have to take care of everybody” and that “conservatives are going to have to get over it.”
Which matches his entry at ontheissues.org.
Donald Trump: “Im a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.”
He’s not pro-life, I know that, although he’s throwing up a thin smokescreen on the subject.
I know he won’t defend marriage or rein in these usurping judges.
He supports universal health care.
That’s for starters.
So, his populist button pushing just doesn’t push my buttons, at all.
