So where is the NY Times outrage over sanctuary cities?

These public employees seem to forget that taxpayers pay them to do their job. And those in my state who are resisting an illegal, made-up "law", are doing exactly what I expect them to.

Tough guys prosecute/persecute bakers. Trespassers/illegal aliens/undocumented residents? What’s that?

Government employees do not have a constitutionally protected right to pick and choose which members of the public they will serve, no matter their religious beliefs.Tell that to Obama and his cabinet, who routinely pick and choose which laws and which members of society they will work to benefit.
The Constitutions protection of religious freedom simply does not include the right to discriminate against others in the public sphere.
Let's see if you remember this maxim when your gay allies start persecuting Christians for their Biblical beliefs about marriage. And Muslims, too.

Wow, on top of them ignoring sanctuary cities and probably 100 other laws that the government breaks, is the NYT usurping the role of SCOTUS? What's up with the shrill, "they must stop!" stuff?

The Supreme Court does not make law. The have overstepped their Constitutional authority, and those tryin to “create” law must be impeached.

San Francisco refused to comply with federal immigration laws and Kathryn Steinle is dead. Americans are killed and maimed every day by “undocumented immigrants”.
Why is it that the highest court in the land, packed by Democrats, says that homosexuals have the “right” to marry, but every day Americans are denied their constitutional right to life, liberty and property because of illegal defiance of law by Democrats and their friends across the aisle?

The Supreme Court could not have been clearer legally out of bounds when it ruled late last month that states may not refuse to marry same-sex couples.

The hypocrisy is breathtaking. As has been noted above, Obama flat out said he will not be enforcing the law with regard to immigration and will also be imposing an illegal executive amnesty. We also have the sanctuary cities. How can anyone take the Times seriously?

This article is proof positive that the USSC has taken down the "wall of separation between church and state", and can NO LONGER BE USED AS AN ARGUMENT AGAINST THE CHRISTIAN !!!
It is gone !
If they can bring someone up on charges for ERECTING A WALL BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE, the argument no longer exists
Retro-actively;
What about every court case adjudicated BECAUSE of that so-called Constitutional stand ?
Popcorn almost done ....

It’s not a matter “religious liberty”. It is freedom in general. The freedom to associate with whom we want. The freedom to do business with whom we want. The right to use and control our property as we see fit.
Get up off your knees and stop whining about religious liberty and demand liberty.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
What was illegal was that decision. Regardless, I thought we got to pick and choose the laws we like. I learned that from publications like the NYTimes.
