Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Wednesday said the nation owes an apology for slavery.
“As a nation — I don’t think as a president, but as a nation — we have got to apologize for slavery,” the 2016 Democratic presidential contender told host Joe Madison on Sirius XM’s “The Black Eagle.”
“As a nation we have got to apologize for slavery, and of course the president is the leader of the nation,” he added.
Sanders said that slavery had caused too much suffering to remain unaddressed.
“Obviously nobody in this generation was involved in slavery,” Sanders said.

If all it was having the president say, “Sorry about slavery” then I’d say what the heck. But we know it won’t be as simple as that.

To liberals, none of what you mentioned is good enough to atone for slavery. Liberals think that the problems of the black community today are due to the legacy of slavery.

The Democrats need to apologize for their post civil war repression and attacks on African Americans by creating and sustaining the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, segregation, “separate but equal,” opposing the civil rights laws championed by he Republicans in the 1950s, and LBJ’s “great society” which had destroyed Black families since its creation in 1965.

...... Well to know that a person would have to actually go to a school that will bring that to peoples attention. Public schools don't teach such things .... not to mention ... most of the people that need to know that ...... rarely even go to school in the first place.
He wants us to pay reparations to get all the peeps back on the communist plantation.
