CHICAGO -- When the Fair Housing Act was passed in 1968, it barred the outright racial discrimination that was then routine. It also required the government to go one step further — to actively dismantle segregation and foster integration in its place — a mandate that for decades has been largely forgotten, neglected and unenforced.
Now, on Wednesday, the Obama administration will announce long-awaited rules designed to repair the law’s unfulfilled promise and promote the kind of racially integrated neighborhoods that have long eluded deeply segregated cities like Chicago and Baltimore. The new rules, a top demand of civil-rights groups, will require cities and towns all over the country to scrutinize their housing patterns for racial bias and to publicly report, every three to five years, the results. Communities will also have to set goals, which will be tracked over time, for how they will further reduce segregation.

Job? What’s a job? And how does that relate to a house? Laugh, but work is divorced from income and the less income you have the more likely the government will kick in for you to have a house.
According to this article, even black people don’t want to raise their families in black neighbourhoods.
This is about extorting money through fines from virtually every municipality in the country, nothing else.
This will finally put the federal government completely into every facet of our lives right down to the local level.

Republicans with a spine (I know, I know . . .) in control of Congress should in response pass a law that any regulations and policies stemming from this initiative be applied first (and only) to those communities in Maryland and Virginia within a 50 mile radius of the Capital, for a 10 year test period of that approach. Let all the bureaucrats and toadies sucking on the federal teat show us how well that would work.
Obama would never sign such a bill, of course, but then one could, if one actually had some gumption, use that veto as a way of showing how phony these jerkweeds really are.

They do not have to have jobs. The Government will give them everything the want, money to spend, a fully furnished house or apartment to live, food to eat, water and electricity paid for. Not only that, the Government will make sure that they have access to all the drugs and sex they desire. And the best part of it all is you and I will be paying for it
