"The City Made a Mistake": Hillary Clinton Says San Francisco Shooting Suspect Should Have Been Deported
Lawmakers and politicians are criticizing the failure to deport an immigrant with multiple felony convictions and an outstanding drug warrant who allegedly went on to murder a woman in San Francisco.
Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, in an interview with CNN, said that the City of San Francisco's law enforcement officials were wrong to release from jail Mexican national Francisco Sanchez, who is now at the center of a national immigration controversy.
"The city made a mistake, not to deport someone that the federal government strongly felt should be deported,'' Clinton said. "So I have absolutely no support for a city that ignores the strong evidence that should be acted on.''

Yeah, just like there were “mistakes” made in Benghazi. But at the end of the day, really, what difference does it make? As long as Hillary is okay and has her ill-gotten, undeserved millions, then everything is right in the world. We should all be thankful for that.
Since when do cities deport? Immigration is a federal responsibility. Why are these cities allowed to create their own immigration policies that subvert federal law?

Very sly of her. She’s actually defending the concept of sanctuary cities while seeming to sound tough on an instance of illegal immigration.
Sanctuary cities assume to themselves the authority to decide when/if to turn an illegal over to the feds for deportation. Normal cities abide the authority of the feds and always turn over the illegal when the feds recommend deportation.
So what Hillary is saying is that, while in general it’s okay to have sanctuary cities that may or may not listen to the feds, in this particular case she thinks the city should have listened.
Her leftist base will hear the dog whistle while the average joe will hear her sounding tough. It’s very clever actually. Like that cat in the FR fundraising image says, these Rats are dangerous.
Amazing. I can’t stand Hillary Clinton but she is a better politician than most of the Republican contenders. At least she’s trying to get in front of this trainwreck. In contrast, Jeb Bush, Rubio, Fiorina, Christie, Perry and Walker have yet to talk about what happened to the poor lady let alone express any outrage on the subject.

Every day in America, municipality arrests illegal immigrant for a violation of laws. The illegal immigrant is held until ICE arrives to take them into federal custody. After three days and nobody from the feds will come get them, they get turned loose.
Repeat process.
Interesting that Arizona tried to pass laws SUPPORTING the Federal Government regarding illegal immigration, and Obama fought them. But it's OK if a city like San Francisco ignores Federal Law regarding illegal immigrants.
For the record, Hillary got something right for once.
