Hillary Clinton tersely defended her use of a private email address and secret home server today during her first national interview of the 2016 presidential campaign, declaring, 'Everything I did was permitted.'
Clinton said that 'people should and do trust me' as she proclaimed that she went 'above and beyond' in providing the State Department with 55,000 pages of her emails.
She wouldn't talk about the allegations involving her family foundation, now ran by her daughter Chelsea and husband Bill, contending that she worked there for a short year and a half.
But Clinton said she was 'proud' of the 'very small role' she played in the international charity and the work that it does and said she was used to 'unsubstantiated' rumors being spread about her family after this long in the public eye.

My trust for Clintons evaporated years ago.
Bill was found in court to be a perjuring liar and lost his law license.
Not to mention his finger wagging whoppers that a certain blue dress exposed.
The whole Lewinsky situation would have played out very differently without the blue dress. If he had not unwittingly left behind evidence, the smoking gun so to speak, Lewinsky would have played out just as all the other he said/she said situations of the Clinton years.
..Makes one wonder what States IT policy was/is...
It depends on what your definition of is, is.
“H-> clearly has no controlling legal authority.”
That is true. I am not in her camp.
Is she not on the BOD?
;-) Noted.....
Even if it were permitted (which it wasn’t), that isn’t the point. The point is your lack of security on your server compromised the whole federal governments computer network system. Every agency - including the White House- was vulnerable.
“Trust me” is a dead giveaway. No one trusts her.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“Permitted” by whom?
“Permitted” by the Executive Branch and our do nothing, see nothing, compromised Legislative Branch?
They certainly ‘looked the other way’ and allowed it to happen. Clinton crimes didn’t happen in a vacuum.
‘I have every confidence that during the course of this campaign people are going to know who will fight for them, who will be there when they need them.
“Ambassador Stevens, please pick up the white courtesy phone...wait...What?”
I guess, permitted by God
Whatever became of the brain tumor that prevented her from testifying at the Benghazi hearings?
“Its one thing to say - yes, this is illegal, quite another to actually bring charges and book an individual with a crime.”
If you aren’t charging Clinton with violation of the Federal Records Act, you might as well just rip the statute out of the law books.
That law is designed for Senior officials. She knew that. The law specifies that official business be conducted on government accounts. The act is to PRESERVE communications for a myriad of reasons.
She intended to break the law before she even took office as SecState. She KNEW the law. She had served as first Lady and a US Senator.
- She didn’t use government email for official business as the law requires.
- She didn’t save the emails as the law requires.
- She didn’t use secure storage for classified information.
Slam Dunk for a prosecutor.
well put.
Thus speaketh the queen
