The gun used to kill a 32-year-old woman on San Franciscos waterfront was stolen from a federal agent in a car burglary in June, sources close to the investigation said Tuesday.
The .40-caliber pistol was stolen from the agent not long before Kathryn Steinle was shot to death July 1 at Pier 14 on the Embarcadero, said one source, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk about the case publicly.

Probably it was one of Eric Holder's Fast and Furious guns.

Did the agent leave it in the bathroom?
Or, was it stolen from his car?

I know a lot of folks are want to keep a little sumpin' under the seat. That way you never have to wonder if you brought it...and some don't even lock their car/truck.
But in a town like SF where every 3rd person is certifiably bat sh!t crazy one needs to exercise more caution and prudence.
Was the "Federal Officer" charged with a negligence infraction, st least?
How about now that the weapon has killed an innocent?
You know, in addition to nuking the perp.

Obama regime has armed almost every two bit fed worker they can find over the past few years. I bet it was a lesbian Fed Equal Rights Nazi of some sort that had no business with a weapon due to mental illness.

What federal agency uses .40 caliber?
To: artichokegrower
Only law enforcement have the correct training to safely use and secure dangerous guns. Disarm everybody but them.

So more gun laws would have done nothing to prevent this murder, but closing the border and not tolerating sanctuary cities would have saved this girls life. Obama is on the wrong side as usual.
