A Nobel Prize-winning scientist who supported President Barack Obama has said that he does not believe global warming is a problem, and has openly criticized the president for his position on the issue.
"I would say that basically global warming is a non-problem," Dr. Ivar Giaever announced during a speech at the 65th Nobel Laureate Conference in Lindau, Germany, last week, according to Climate Depot.
Quoting Obama's warning that "no challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change," Giaever said it was a "ridiculous statement."
"I say this to Obama: Excuse me, Mr. President, but you're wrong. Dead wrong," he said,

True. And if he were to start getting real traction with the wider public, worse than that would happen to him.
What a racist. Probably owns a Confederate flag.
Actually a majority there didn’t sign the petition.
Just because leftists like Obama say something doesn’t mean they actually believe it themselves. I suspect usually they don’t. They just throw out different BS they want the population to believe.
Since he is Norwegian, I guess he doesn’t worry about the IRS, NSA, or any other American alphabet soup department. His being 86, means he probably would give a flying you know what even if he were American.
bbbb.....bbbbbu....bbb......bbbbbut I thought the verdict was in, and ALL scientists agree, man-made global warming is REAL!
Your room at the deniers concentration camp is now ready, Professor.
The first graph shows a change in temperature of about 7/10ths of ONE degree over a 125 year period. It is on a “shocking” chart that has been drawn to show an ALARMING, steep rise from right to left.
In reality, a less than one degree rise over 125 years, even if true which is debatable, should be portrayed across the span of surface temperatures one would normally see on the surface: between about 30 below zero to 130 degrees.
That increase over 125 years would look like this:
______________________________________________
A virtual straight line with a barely detectable rise.
from left to right: correction.
The Confederate Flag causes Global Warming.
WOW Great information.
That was Obama's statement. I guess it depends on what you mean by future generations. If you mean 1 million AD, then perhaps climate is dramatically different.
If you're talking a hundred years from now, then I think the professor is dead on correct and the president again looks like a stooge.
Of the 36 attending who won the Nobel in science, 35 signed and one(Ivar) didn't.
That increase over 125 years would look like this:
______________________________________________
A virtual straight line with a barely detectable rise.
And considering all the potential natural contributors to that supposed less than one degree rise, plus the 'normal' climate/temperature back-and-forth swings over that time, it's even more ridiculous.
Wrong right off the bat. A collapsed world economy, brought on by global taxation to raise money to fight "global warming" will cause misery, death and environmental disasters the like of which we have not seen in generations.
That is the threat to future generations.
Holy crap, I'm usually out by bed by 4:30 a.m. every day and on weekends, there is no local news at that time so I tune in to the Weather Channel.
Somewhere between the 4:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. time slot, they have a program dedicated to severe weather which they unabashedly blame on man made global warming..........
Talk about propaganda, this station goes all out.........
It makes good copy to say that this one man didn't sign, but Newsmax(AND YOU) are being dishonest to not mention that it was 35 to 1.
See, See! They weren't 100% unanimous, only 97.2% unanimous.
Do they have an IPhone app?
Nobel physicist Dr. Giaever joins nearly EVERY meteorologist as an “anthropogenic globe warming” skeptic!!!!
But it is more a cult than a religion, and a giant SCAM to force the world into a global dictatorship with massive poverty!!!!
