Billionaire GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump provided a statement to Breitbart News regarding Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush’s attacks on his immigration stance, reiterating his support for powerful border security and an immigration policy that serves American interests.
“Mr. Trump is concerned about the 90 million Americans that are outside our workforce, a Trump adviser told Breitbart News. “Jeb Bush wants to import more low-skilled, unemployed foreigners who will further drive down wages for the middle class.”

As everybody knows, I never said that all Mexicans crossing the border are rapists. Jeb is mischaracterizing my statements only to inflame. As seen with the tragic and unnecessary death of Kathryn Steinle this past week in San Francisco at the hands of an illegal immigrant who was previously deported five times, our unsecured border is a national security threat.

IMO Cruz calls them like he sees them and on the illegal alien issue Cruz welcomes support from Trump. I don’t think he is necessarily aligning himself with Trump. We will see.

I learned that lesson twice. My office was once gasoline bombed by illegals at 4AM, while I was working night shift. Could have died.

Cruz 1320: Create border security triggers that can be measured objectively by Congress and provide the resources and capabilities necessary to secure the border
Before any illegal immigrants could be legalized, DHS is required to:
Triple the number of Border Patrol agents on the southern border;
Quadruple the cameras, sensors, drones, helicopters, and other technology and infrastructure as appropriate
Complete all 700 miles of the fencing required by law in the Secure Fence Act of 2006 (Pub, L. 109-367)
Develop a policy assuring real-time sharing of information among all federal law enforcement agencies regarding illegal border activity
Complete and fully implement the US-VISIT system, including the biometric entry-exit portion—as Congress has repeatedly mandated – so we will finally know those present in the country after their visa expires
Establish “operational control” over 100 percent of the southern border.
If DHS fails to substantially comply with any of these trigger requirements within 3 years, the salary of all DHS political appointees would be cut by 20 percent and 20 percent of DHS’s budget would be block granted to the states with the full authority to use those funds to secure the border;
This amendment is required to be fully offset. Either the appropriations committee must identify offsets, or it will be paid for by an automatic, across the board cut to non-defense spending – an approach supported in the past by many Republicans and the White House.
Unfortunately, the current Gang of 8 bill will not secure the border. It grants legal status for those here illegally when DHS simply drafts a plan for securing the border. And it then grants green cards to those individuals when DHS certifies, in its opinion, that the plan has been substantially completed based on subjective criteria. The bill does not require operational control of the entire border and does not provide the resources necessary to truly secure the border.
If Cruz continues to allow himself to be allied with that pompous idiot, he’s making a huge mistake....huge.

My buddy has a ‘younger’ wife (about 25 yrs) and she has him into all these extra curricular activities like jogging, biking, diet etc.... He has had 2 ‘h attacks or ‘incidents’’, is shorter but rounder than THIS non bike riding, non exercising, leaves a restaurant if it advertises ‘healthy food’ (also if it has Liberal servings)... my 75 yo ‘fat arse’ runs circles around this one time couch potato turned ‘health nut’.
She got all weeweed off at me when I loudly told him ‘Some people just shouldn’t do spandex’.... I also tell them that I can’t ‘afford’ all these regimes as apparently one needs a ‘uniform’ for each (torturous) event. I would spend the day changing ‘outfits’.
They also got quite upset with me when I told him if he parked the riding lawn mower, got an old walk behind NON motorized mower he could give up the rest of the ‘happy horse sh er feathers’ routines as when he finished mowing he would be able to start up again..
Those younguns just won’t take any advice.
If and when Trump drops out he might endorse Hillary. He has more ties to her than any of the GOP, e or otherwise.

I think that you are seriously misjudging Trumps’ motives.
Trump is about Trump first, last, and always. I don’t think he wants to be president, but he doesn’t want another limp-wrist who is going to lose to Killary. So he’s trying to knock out Jeb, Christie, Rubio, Huckster, Pataki, and all the other pretenders by getting the shit storm started now. I do suspect that he is a Cruz supporter, taking the flak for him, and moving the debate to the right.
Trump is highly intelligent, an he is a “long game” player. He’s looking at queue leaves and the setup for three shots from now, to use a little pool parlance.
I think that if Cruz/Trump plays this right, Trump will get out before the primaries even begin and Cruz will be the frontrunner.
