WOLFEBORO, New Hampshire (CNN) Mitt Romney said Saturday that Donald Trump's comments on Mexico and undocumented immigrants have hurt the Republican Party, making the 2012 presidential nominee the latest Republican to slam the billionaire over his controversial remarks.

LOL! "I'm sorry Dave. I don't like what you're writing."
I understand where you are coming from, and I find much to agree with. At the end of the day, this is what my response was to another poster.

Trump is just not quite as nuanced as Romney is
[[Romney: Trump’s immigration comments hurting GOP]]
Well DUH- thats’ the intention- to expose the rinos I nthe GOP as left leaning traitors who have betrayed the REPULICAN party
Thanks fer playin Romney!
You vote for evil, you get it. Doesn’t matter whose name is on it. Thats a simple fact. Evil is evil. Lesser or greater. Calling a guy that funds abortion personally, created the first legal gay marriage in America, taxed his people to death, is a gun grabber etc some viable option when you are trying to stop liberals from more abortion, gun grabbing, gay everything and hypertaxation is pure idiocy.
All the above isn’t arguable. If anyone wants to try, be my guest. It doesn’t change reality.
Good example!
The one I think about is Boehner. As long as it looked liked the Repubs would still have a majority in the House, I'd vote for the Democrat if I lived in Boehner's district, simply to get him out of the Speakership. But if looked like the Dems could take the House, then I'd vote for Boehner.
Same goes for Mitch McConnell.
And may many follow your example.
Agree with all of that.
Look what's happened already. Rubio and Jeb are sinking. Cruz is regaining his strong voice. There's no oxygen left in the room for candidates who can't keep up with Trump and Cruz. US voters are enjoying the political mayham. Where's the downside?
you make no sense....as usual........no difference between less or more? What kind of obtuse idiot are you?
Don’t answer. This is over your head.
Four really big boobs.
Only gutless, spineless RINOs, shudder when the Donald speaks. Truth is Trump, Cruz and Walker are the best available to be POTUS.
Wouldn’t you say Bush was better than Obama?
I would. So where did his terms ultimately lead us?
Was the outcome something you voted for?
I’m tired of enabling lackluster performances so bad they usher in the worst leader imaginable.
My vote for Bush the second time around essentially turned into an endorsement for anyone but a member of the Republican party.

sure. There’s another school of thought, though. BO has a lot of supporters. They want him in there.
What would things look like now? Really.
You think the supreme court would have come up with something different last week?
You think immigration laws would be enforced?
You think BO’s supporters would love Romney now? Or they would hate him worse than they did Bush? You think they wouldn’t be clamoring for Hillary Now?
Yes, I voted for Romney. It wasn’t a mistake. He would have been different from Obama. What would things look like now, facing a certain 8 years of Hilary?
thats right but the blonde lady anchor did not let that get by....she was quite good
Not my fault you cant read. You aren’t too swift on politics either.
your post 78 is very well put......
And it’s funny - in a sad way - I am working on an article with the working title “The Lie that Must Be Corrected” - which is that conservatism and the free market is what caused the econ crash of 08. Bush still gets blamed for that - almost the exact same percentage who voted for Obama, and the Republicans will NEVER eVER win the WH again til it’s corrected IMO.
Its really the entire theme of my book, frankly...
Yes, the Bush terms did lead to the Clinton and Obama administrations.
But the Bush terms were not as destructive as either.
This problem needs to be nipped in the bud in the primary season...and I think Jeb and Christie and all of the moderates are going to get nipped this time.
