Donald Trump must disclose how much money he made from his so-called Trump University, San Diego U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel ruled this week.
The judge ruled that one of several plaintiffs that had signed up for Trump U is allowed to question the current GOP presidential candidate about the profit he made, whether directly or indirectly, from Trump University.
((snip))
In his ruling, Curiel added that Trump failed to show "that a broad federal right to financial privacy exists that bars discovery regarding any financial transactions of a defendant accused of defrauding large numbers of people."
"Thus, Trump's payments to, and receipt of funds from, Trump University would be relevant to supporting plaintiffs' claims," Curiel said.

LS, I don’t have a white knight. I have a solid conservative candidate-—Cruz, as I’ve stated.
But I'm certainly not going to bad-mouth Trump for other positions he may have when he is advancing a central position that most Freepers have gone apoplectic over.
BTW, as I stated, I had a one-on-one with Cruz over his health care alternative to Obamacare, and I think it's a political loser. Maybe good ideas, but they absolutely won't sell because they rely on health SAVINGS accounts (when people already can't or won't save) and tax benefits (when many people aren't paying taxes). So it's these kinds of things that can keep a candidate at 5-7%.
It appears it was the one he didn't bother to get.
Special Provisions for Proposed For-Profit Colleges
If an in-State, for-profit organization wishes to establish a for-profit (proprietary) college, it must first apply to the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision for licensure as a non-degree, post-secondary school.

Again, I fail to see that this was a college. It looks like a typical seminar. This in no way looks like a “non-degree, post-secondary school” It looks exactly like Praeger’s outfit.
We’ll see what happens after the first debate, which is next month.
It’s true that Cruz has been courteous toward Trump, but at the same time I doubt Ted takes him seriously.
I have no use for Trump, sorry. Whatever red meat he’s throwing today is just for effect.
A##wipes and a##hats ON PARADE
We’ll see. Cruz has been generous to everyone=class. But sooner or later he will have to separate.
The front of the parade is where the clowns are.
Not saying I disagree with the ruling, what I really want is a way to prosecute all the politicians that have become filthy rich sucking the lifeblood of taxpayers. Now there is a group that has taken me for my money!
Since your an expert on Parades, who is at the back of the Parade?
I’m *far* less concerned with Trump being a liberal than I am with him being a “Perot”.
Duke. Perot was third party all the way.
That being said, he must win the primary against Cruz I hope, and it won’t happen.
I think he can siphon votes off of Jeb before anyone else.
Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. We’ll see.
You’re on target cc. Expect much flack. Personally, I’m enjoying the Trump circus, but I do not understand why folks take him seriously. My very first post about trumpnwhen he announced was that he was a stalking horse for the Clintons to split the vote like Perot. I fully expect to see an ‘independent’ campaign once he loses the replublican race. If he actually wins the republican nomination, then yoy can stick a fork in the country. We’re done.
Dave Del Dotto got whacked for the same kinda of thing.
Reference was to the idiot judge.
