Nothing would surprise. Barry, the Clinton’s lawn jockey, rode the Trojan Horse Hillarycare to the finish line.

It seems that the only polls showing Bush as a contender are FoxNews polls.

Most straw polls and ‘local media’ polls have Bush in the lower single-digits.

==

Polls at this stage are meaningless until all wannabes have announced and the debates start.

Too many of the ‘polls’ are commissioned by concerns who pay for a desired result to push the popularity of their desiree.

I’m inclined to believe this, just like Newt in 2012.

I doubt that Trump will stay in the race to the end, but until then, more power to him.

Trump is not necessary to the obvious high attrition rate of candidates we will see over the next 10 months or so.

I think most of these “candidates” are in it to raise dough, pay themselves a good salary, and then spread the remainder around to eb little kingmakers.

A field of 25-30 candidates on the GOP side is absurd.

When you have more clowns than the circus, you are in trouble.

Either that, or Trump really wants to be president and thinks he could do a good job given his business experience

There isn’t a chance in hell of that blowhard winning the election, but yes he is a dangerous distraction that primarily benefits Jeb. He’s the only one that dares say what the rest of us think about illegal immigration and other hard right issues, siphoning off support from the other conservative candidates, leaving Jebbie with the rest. Wouldn’t call it a conspiracy though, just Trump’s ego that is motivating him to run.

Seems silly. He’s attacking Jeb’s #1 issue, illegals. I don’t see how that helps Jeb. And I don’t think it’s a surprise that Jeb’s numbers have fallen, especially since Trump got in the race.

With Trumps enormous ego I don’t see him playing patsy for anyone. He’s in it because he is egomaniacal enough to think he’s the best person for the job and stupid enough to think he has a chance.

Considering Trump has given more money to Dems and hits Bush hard plus remembering Ross Perot’s contempt for the Bushes in 1992 when he helped the Clinton’s split the vote for a 43 percent popular vote win. Perot ran as a third candidate again in 1996 splitting the anti-Bill Clinton vote (won with 49 percent pop vote).

What I’m trying to say is its plausible that Trump is a disrupter sent in by the Clinton’s.

I am betting if one would poll the under 30 years olds, Jeb might get 4 votes.

Trump is innately fascinating to a lot of people. He understands media and marketing. He has a certain level of charisma.

He's talking about stuff that other people don't want to talk about.
He does not back down.
He is unafraid.

All of this is refreshing and may convince the public that smarmy, vapid career politicians (Hillary, Jeb) are not what the country needs.

I do not expect to vote for Trump. He is currently my #2 pick. But I do not expect to vote for Trump.

I'm for Cruz all the way, and in some respects I think that Trump helps Cruz. There is an overlap in their views and Cruz is actually a more mature, smarter and experienced politician. I think Cruz benefits from Trumps willingness to talk boldy early in the race.

I heard on Rush’s show (?...maybe Hannity’s?) that this is a theory being heavily promoted by the lefties....fwiw.

Like others have said...why would Trump be attacking Jeb!’s main issue...the loving illegal aliens?

This already happened in 1992. By early summer, Ross Perot was LEADING in some of the polls. Then he hit the self-destruct button.

Then later that year, he got back into the race, just to make sure he would pull about a fifth of the electorate away from voting for Bush over Clinton.

And it worked! Despite acting as crazy as a bat, he got 19% of the country to vote for him that November.

JEB BUSH = Never worked a day in his life, his ENTIRE family has become rich off their influence in government. They cannot and do not represent anyone but themselves and the interest of their own family and business partners. In it for the money and for the money only. He goes to sleep at night with someone who is tied to the illegals.

DONALD TRUMP = A guy who works for a living. Is not a parasite. Not in it for the money. Goes to sleep at night with who you see above.

I'd say Jeb Bush is not even in Trump's league.

I see the opposite playing out: Trump’s firebrand rhetorical style will make the conservatives look “moderate” while depriving the Bush campaign of any oxygen. Bush drops out. Trump eventually goes down from weight of the Media negativity (when they realize he ain’t going any other way).
And then you get the first conservative nominee since Reagan.
