They need these to make a pattern. Dylann Storm Roof (sic?) ws one instance. They need more, either real or manufactured, white on black racist attacks.

They don’t REALLY need the 1960s back because in the 1960s they could not pretend that the Republicans were the white racists. Everyone back then KNEW that it was the Democrats who ran the KKK and they could not fantasize that George Wallace was a Republican.

I’m just south of Knoxville and we are finally getting some much needed rain this week. I have been watering the garden for a long time. I have also seen plenty of hay fires.

Pastors often burn their own churches. It generates insurance money for a money losing church. That their being investigated for arson tells us nothing about the perp(s).

Bill Clinton’s talking point of the late 1990s returns???
Recall tha Mr. Clinton had the FBI investigating a non-story of a “rash” of “racist” black church fires in the late 90s. This was the same time period when nearly 2 dozen Islamists were learning to fly airplanes in preparation of the 9-11 attacks.

“Pastors often burn their own churches.”....
While I understand your stated reason for these fires as a possibility, you DO HAVE PROOF that this is what is the REAL reason or is it just “hear say”?

Just one possibility. Black churches burn all the time here in Chicago and nobody says anything about racism being the cause. This is a narrative being pushed to harm the GOP and conservatives in 2016. If ‘southern’ support is racist, then...

If I remember correctly, Clinton claimed to remember church burnings in Arkansas. A quick look at that time period showed almost no church arsons in Arkansas at that time.

Churches and barns are just boxes if air—pyromaniacs live them. Especially if they are rural, away from people mist if the time.

Many older churches don’t have “modern” fire alarm systems either so fires can burn for much longer before being dected. I know of one are son church fire where they build had pull stations and a few smoke alarms but it was not monitored by a alarm company. The fire was only reported Wien it was blowing out e 1st and 2nd floor windows.

Plus, these churches are just “predominately black congregations” therefore it cannot be racism.

Three out of six may have been arson, pending completion of investigations. If any of the three are arson was it racially motivated, insurance fraud, or based on some old grudge?

FANNING IMAGINARY FLAMES: A LOOK BACK AT THE GREAT CHURCH FIRE PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN
Fifteen summers ago, America's news media informed us that black churches throughout the South were being torched by white racists. The purported wave of arsons dominated the airwaves and generated thousands of newspaper articles. Pundits, politicians and preachers decried the terrorism and the hate it represented.
In fact, it never happened.
Here is the little-known story of how an obscure radical group teamed up with a leftist national church organization, an unprincipled President and a legion of compliant news outlets to create a media firestorm — one based entirely on lies. . .
