Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell said Monday on CBS This Morning there was “nothing routine” about July 4 terrorist attack warnings by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, adding that he would not be surprised if “we’re sitting here a week from today talking about an attack.”

I’ll be in a cow pasture with about 20 rednecks and their families setting off anything that will explode. I don’t see and attack coming my way.
What’s the bigger danger: the Confederate flag, or the false flag?
And our government would allow an attack that the knew was coming simply because.
Recall their conspiracy theory idiocy over 9/11 being an inside job, allowed to happen on purpose, etc?
They were telling us what they would do.
The left ALWAYS accuses their opponents of doing what the left wishes and wants to do.
I dunno... these warnings before most holidays seem pretty routine to me. Maybe this is the time of year they're all working on their budget requests for next year's budget or something like that, or maybe they're just getting into the swing of campaign 2016 and they're all trying to show how hard the Dems are working to keep us all safe.
There is probably some consternation from them in that no terrorist attack they could conceivably devise could do as much damage upon America as what last week has already self-inflictedly wrought.
A fireworks show would be perfect cover for an attack
Use real, loaded rifles in the parade.
Just look at where they run active drills. . . then stay the hell away from there.

I’ve been out of the game for a while, but the warning from Michael Morrell certainly caught my attention, for several reasons.
First, as the former #2 at CIA, Morrell still speaks in carefully-measured bureaucrat-speak. After a while in the trade, it becomes part of your DNA; there’s always a qualifier for every threat, just to CYA. Pretty remarkable for a guy with that background to speak so bluntly. It’s almost as if someone—more like multiple people still in the business—have told him that some sort of attack is almost inevitable.
Reason #2: Morrell still knows lots of people at Langley and the other agencies. He may not have received a prediction of an attack at a specified location on a certain date, but it’s a guarantee his comments mirror what he’s being told. If he’s worried on CBS, there are lots of folks worried at CIA, DIA, NSA and the FBI.
Finally, you can see terrorist activity in this country building to a climax in recent months. Active ISIS cases in all 50 states; more than 50 people arrested for ISIS-related activity so far this year. Number of global attacks by the group up sharply from 2014 and (of course) we had three last week.
Meanwhile, White House propagandist Josh Ernest says there are no credible threats against July 4th events. Typical weasel-mouth drivel. If he’s right, you may be safe at the holiday fireworks show, or at the beach, but you may get whacked at your local big box store.
My impression—and it is nothing more, is that ISIS has successfully flooded the zone. The feds are on to something big in the CONUS, but the terrorists are way ahead, and there’s a consensus we won’t be able to stop the attack. It’s akin to being the lookout on the Titanic; you see the iceberg and sound the alarm, but you know the ship can’t avoid it.

“I don’t want to tell Americans what to do or what not to do, but Norah, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re sitting here a week from today talking about an attack over the weekend in the United States,” he said. “That’s how serious this is.”
I plan to sit around the house.
Just can’t think of anything to celebrate on July 4, 2015.
