Anybody that thinks the court isn’t Obama’s own personal puppet need a reality check.

Obama owns the Supreme Court. Lock. Stock. and Barrel.

Preliminary order, not yet a final determination of Constitutionality ... although I think we all know where that will end up

Well thank God we voted for lesser evil that gave up on social issues and moved on.

It was the conservative thing to do you know...Settled science.

Does Texas have a nullification law in place or in its constitution?

Obama long ago set a precedent of not enforcing laws he didn’t happen to like. The Supreme Court has just affirmed that law no longer matters — so, why can’t Texas ignore this ruling? The people of Texas and their representatives spoke — THAT’S the will of the people — not 5 perverts in black robes.

Laws don’t mean what they say.

SC said so last week.

Texas skates.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday agreed to temporarily block
parts of a strict new Texas abortion law.

The court granted a request by women’s health providers, which had asked the court to
temporarily put on hold a 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling from June 9. The groups
asked the high court to put the provisions on hold until they can file a formal petition
asking the justices to take the case.

Let Governor Abbott paraphrase Andrew Jackson. They got their decision, now let them enforce it.

So they could not win this debate with their star candidate, Wendy Davis, for Texas governor as it was discovered early on that she lied about significant things concerning her background and that she ran a very disappointing campaign against Greg Abbott. Instead, they do things this way, creating a political climate that would make Will Darnell’s garage in Stephen King’s “Christine” look like a Sunday school venue by comparison.

These restrictions reduced the number of 40 abortion "clinics" down to 8.

They mostly had to do with having standards in an operating room that a hospital would have for health and safety purposes to the patient (the mother patient, not the patient they kill). Clearly that would be against the abortion clause in the constitution.

We're being played people, played big time.

We had a snowball's chance in hell with all the latest decisions and deep down we all knew it.

I looked up Kennedy’s education, Harvard again, Stanford before. I am thinking we have educational/Ivy League elites giving the shaft to the people of this nation. I think that is part of the problem too. Get people who got their law degree from Podunk U or where ever.

It confounds me why this is in Federal Court in the first place when it is a state issue, other than Federal judges seem eager to jump in. Seems to me that that is an area Congress could fix (i.e., federal jurisdicition boundaries).

So, why does Justice Roberts continue to vote conservatively on all cases except for Obamacare? What does that tell us?
