CNN interviewing locals:
He was captured about 3 miles from the Canadian border.
If he was shot and bleeding, doesn’t have to be heavy bleeding, a fracking dog can find him very quickly. Not finding him within an hour means he got away from the immediate area.
a Tracking dog works even better......
As for the other unbelievably ruthless, now dead POS (Richard Matt)...
___________________________________________________
"He [Richard Matt] killed a 76-year-old businessman by breaking his neck, then cut up the body and threw the pieces into a river.
(snip)
The victim was a food broker named William Rickerson who had hired and then fired Matt.
(snip)
On Dec. 4, 1997, according to the trial testimony of an accomplice, Matt beat Rickerson with a knife sharpener, bound him with duct tape, tossed him in the trunk of a car, and then drove around for 27 hours looking for a place to kill and bury him.
At one stop on the drive, Matt opened the trunk, broke four of Rickerson's fingers, hit him in the chest with a steering wheel locking device, then shut the trunk and kept driving.
The accomplice testified that Matt had him turn down a cul-de-sac, stop the car and open the trunk again. He said Matt told him: "You know, I've had enough of this."
He said Matt reached in and twisted Rickerson's head. "I heard a pop," the accomplice testified, and the businessman "just dropped back in the trunk." Matt cut off the arms and legs with a hacksaw, authorities said.
A fisherman discovered the torso in the Niagara River.
“...Bug bites were found on Matts lower extremities, along with blisters and minor abrasions consistent with living in the woods for three weeks,...”
Hell, sounds about like living in the suburbs here. Bug bites, cat scratched me, banged hell out of my big toe nail, etc.
Good thing Matt and Sweat ain’t Black.
CNN reporting that he may have to be transported to a Level One trauma center, thus may be the need of them waiting on more equipment.
==
From earlier reports (when the other guy was shot and killed), the area looks very rugged, so access to Sweat may be difficult.
==
They need to hurry or he might bleed out. What? Apparently the ambulance is waiting for a turtle to finish crossing the road. [humor break — not really a stalled rescue due to turtle.]
So who was shot, Sweat or Matt? Terrible writing.
In the meantime, autopsy results on Matt's body came back that showed his three days on the run were grueling -- and that he met a quick and bloody end. "Dr. Michael Sikirica determined the cause of death to be severe skull fractures and brain injuries due to gunshot wounds to the head," a statement from State Police about the autopsy results said.Yeah, that would do it.
Don't ya need TWO men to go mano a mano? I mean, other than Sweat, where would the other man come from?
Confused.
Meanwhile in TX, Dacious decided to make a run for it-

This story stinks!
Yeah I dont hear the media being all outraged that they shot this guy THREE times in the head LOL..there were 1,000 cops looking for them both. Haven’t heard the media say “Well if he were black they would have had 2,000 cops out looking for him”
I'm surprised he hadn't posed for photos with Matt's body, like hunters do with their kill. He seems to be into photo-ops.
Well hopefully he will get the best medical care Obamacare can give/sarc
It was the first story that popped up. Other stories say he is in custody.
Both were shot. Matt was shot and killed 2 days ago. Sweat is (hopefully) near dead after being shot moments ago.
CNN
Sweat was shot twice by a trooper. Sweat was in an open field at the time.
Strother Martin-”Cool hand Luke”
Yeah, but those fracking dogs find a lot more oil!
