Court upholds same sex marriage in 5-4 ruling. Majority is Kennedy, Breyer, Bader-Ginsburg, Kagan & Sotomayor. Scalia, Thomas, Alito & Roberts dissent.
That is where we are now. Any resemblance between the U.S. and a functioning democracy is purely coincidental.
I’m guessing they will also lower the age of consent to allow for pedophelia.
It’s really 6-3, but Roberts wants to look like something. I guess Obama told him he had an extra inch on his leash for being such a loyal dog.
One man changes the meaning of marriage. The question now is how this is going to impact religious rights. Sad day for this country, so glad my core belief in God can never be compromised by what one man in a black robe decides about anything.
Gay Mafia will come after real marriages next.
OF course....it’s all about love don’t you know.
Utterly beyond their purview.
Next up:incest marriage,
Congress can overturn a supreme court decision but this congress would not do that in a thousand years.
Political/Ruling Class
Donors/Blackmailers
We the People
We’ll see what happens when the Obamas are out of power.
So the court ignores the language and examines the intent to preserve Obamacare, and ignores the intent and sticks to the words to allow gay marriage. And I rely on THIS Supreme Court to interpret the law?
Kagan?
I’m shocked! But not really.
Good idea. I won’t be getting married again, but if I did, I’d do that and have it sanctified in church.
Maybe some limitation on life-time appointments should be part of the next Convention of the States amendment to the Constitution. It has gotten out of hand.
This is SO bad. I’m just glad I don’t live near any coastlines or fault lines. This is going to be a real SHTF time. Just the other day, a tree, must have been at least 50 years old, just a few blocks from where I work, blue down in a freak squall. Big trees are not supposed to just uproot for no reason. Bad omen? You betcha. Reckon I’ll be stocking up on bottled water and batteries.
I think so. Like the trade deal, they let it be closer than it really was. They had a reserve bullpen.

Correct. As hard as it is to get upset by this, just remember where your future lies. We are just passing through.
