Court upholds same sex marriage in 5-4 ruling. Majority is Kennedy, Breyer, Bader-Ginsburg, Kagan & Sotomayor. Scalia, Thomas, Alito & Roberts dissent.
They will come after Christian churches. Of course no one should be surprised.
In yo face America! -Barack Hussein Obama.
Liberals play to win at all costs. Rules mean nothing to them. That is why there can never be an accommodation with them. Its like allowing a team into your league that cheats, bribes and lies at every opportunity.
Obviously there is a very serious problem here that can never be resolved though good faith and mutual acceptance of the binding principles. The Left has no respect for either. We as a nation need to come to terms with that reality and act accordingly in our own self interests. Just saying.
Christians in America should get ready. There will soon be a time when we will have to decide whether to bow to the absolute evil and actions that are contrary to our faith or to choose punishment rather than deny The Word. “Going along to get along” will not save our souls but rather will lose them.
Calling it marriage doesn’t make it so.
Iran is correct,
USA is the Great Satan
I have no doubt that if Kennedy had voted against it, Roberts would have provided the 5th vote.
Bear in mind that Bork died in 2012. Even if he had gotten on the Court, he would have died before this case and Obama would have appointed his replacement.
They will. There is no justification to not say it is constitutional. If there is nothing special about marriage being one man and one woman; well, what is so special about the number two? Nothing. Nothing special about marriage at all. Not any more. Will Churches be "forced" to marry same-sex couples? That is the next battle. (BTW - I doubt that liberals/progressives actually have a problem with polygamy.)
“This country has never been so divided as it is these days.”
That’s a fact. And what is also a fact is we are beyond any reconciliation. They (the left and their useful idiots, the liberals) need us to survive, but we don’t need them. I suggest a peaceful divorce, and let’s break up and go our separate ways. The alternative to a peaceful divorce is...well, not so pleasant, and should be avoided if at all possible.
Under Islam, you can have multiple wives. This is coming.
Polygamy, group marriage of same-sex partners, then comes the age of consent for “marriage” battle.
As the late, great Bob Grant would have said, “It’s sick out there and getting sicker!”
They will never be married in the eyes of GOD.
It is time states think about leaving the union and let the liberal thugs have the rest..What is going to happen next?
He’s compromised. He proved that by writing both the decision for and against obamacare the first time.
“Liberals play to win at all costs. Rules mean nothing to them. That is why there can never be an accommodation with them.”
DING! DING! DING! We have a winner!
Daisy we are a step closer. We're almost there.
And when they are losing they always yell for compromise. But compromising with bad policy is like adding a little sewage to your drinking water.
Sir Thomas More: I think that when statesmen forsake their own private conscience for the sake of their public duties, they lead their country by a short route to chaos.+ + +
The Duke of Norfolk: The nobility of England...
Sir Thomas More: The nobility of England, My Lord, would have snored through the Sermon on the Mount, but you'll labor like scholars over a bulldog's pedigree.

Sir Thomas More: When a man takes an oath, he's holding his own self in his own hands like water, and if he opens his fingers then, he needn't hope to find himself again.
Cromwell: I have evidence that Sir Thomas, while he was a judge, accepted bribes.
The Duke of Norfolk: What? Goddammit, he was the only judge since Cato who didn't accept bribes! When was there last a Chancellor whose possessions after three years in office totaled one hundred pounds and a gold chain?

Sir Thomas More: [to the Chief Justice] Death comes for us all, My Lord... even for kings.

Sir Thomas More: [More has been condemned to death, and now for the first time breaks his years-long adamant silence on Henry VIII's divorce of Queen Catherine to marry Ann Boleyn] Since the Court has determined to condemn me, God knoweth how, I will now discharge my mind concerning the indictment and the King's title. The indictment is grounded in an act of Parliament which is directly repugnant to the law of God, and his Holy Church, the Supreme Government of which no temporal person may by any law presume to take upon him. This was granted by the mouth of our Savior, Christ himself, to Saint Peter and the Bishops of Rome whilst He lived and was personally present here on earth. It is, therefore, insufficient in law to charge any Christian to obey it. And more to this, the immunity of the Church is promised both in Magna Carta and in the king's own coronation oath
