Republican presidential candidate and real estate magnate Donald Trump tells Breitbart News exclusively that he has no plans whatsoever to back down in the face of Univisionon behalf of the Mexican governmenttargeting him after hes exposed trade deals and immigration problems that benefit Mexico and harm the United States.
The Mexican government is putting tremendous pressure on Univision and there are plenty of otherslobbyists and special interestsputting tremendous pressure on Univision to break their fully signed and fully effective contract with the Miss Universe Organization because Ive exposed the tremendously bad trade deals that the United States is so incompetently making with Mexico and also because of the fact that Ive exposed some of the terrible things that happen on the southern border, Trump said in his first interview, which came with Breitbart News on Thursday, in response to the news that under pressure from Mexican officials, Univision has announced it will end its plans to carry the Miss Universe pageants. Trump is a co-owner of the pageant organization.
One of the reasons that Im resonating with the people of the United States is that Im willing to expose this and this is why our country is losing so much money on our trade deals with Mexico and other countries, Trump said. So this is what is happening: I have a fully signed contract, and they dont want me to talk badly about the trade deals because doing that theyre not going to be able to continue to rip off the United States.
On Thursday morning, the Wrap reported that Univision is ceasing all ties with Trumps Miss Universe organization.

I agree. It was a good horse too...

The ties between the Clintons and the Spanish language television network run deep. When Bill took center stage at Univisions upfront presentation for advertisers and the media last month, it marked more than just one of his many paid appearances.
The relationship between the Clintons and Univision is deep from owner Haim Sabans unabashed support for Hillary Clintons election effort to a partnership between Univision and the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, to the networks newscasts that have bashed Republicans and, most recently, praised Hillarys new position on immigration putting her squarely in line with the networks stance on the issue. NYP EXCERPT---Univions trotted out Bill Clinton to talk to advertisers----as private equity owners of the debt-laden company sweat. Univisions owners are hoping to launch the IPO in just weeks. Getting early commitments on ad spending from Madison Avenue would certainly make an IPO road show before potential investors that much easier....they hope to raise around $1 billion at a valuation of $20 billion, according to Reuters. THE BIG BURRITO---HILLARY/BILL CLINTON MEDIA CONNECTION---Latino-TV Univision owner, Haim Saban described his formula to influence American politics: make donations to political parties, establish think tanks, and control media outlets. (WIKI)
WIKI--Saban became involved in politics in the mid-1990s when he felt that support for Israel was slipping in the United States.[5]
Saban has been a generous and consistent donor to the United States Democratic Party according to his mandatory Federal Election Commission filings.
Mother Jones, in an analysis of the major donors to the campaigns of 1998 election cycle, ranked Saban 155th among individual donors.[23] Amy Paris noted that Saban's Clinton-era "generosity did not go unrewarded. During the Clinton administration, the entertainment executive served on the President's Export Council, advising the White House on trade issues."[23]
The New York Times reported that Haim and his wife "slept in the White House several times during President Clinton's two terms." Saban remains close friends with the former President. Clinton described Saban as a "very good friend and supporter."[5]
Saban contributed between $5 million to $10 million to the William J. Clinton Foundation.[24]
During the 2000 presidential election, Saban increased his rank to 5th among individual donors with a combined contribution of $1,250,500.[23] Matthew Yglesias wrote that "Saban was the largest overall contributor to the Democratic National Committee during the 20012002 cycle." [25] Saban's donations during that 20012002 period exceeded $10 million, the largest donation the DNC has received from a single source up to that time.
In September 2004, Hillary Clinton described Saban as a very good friend, supporter and adviser: "I am grateful for his commitment to Israel, to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East and to my foundation's work, particularly on reconciliation issues."[5] In May 2007, Haim publicly declared his support for Clinton in 2008 presidential election.[20]
In June 2007, Saban and Steven Spielberg co-hosted a Hillary Clinton fundraiser at the house of Peter Chernin, the President of News Corporation.[26] According to the Los Angeles Times,[26] the fundraiser brought in over $850,000.
In March 2008, Saban was among a group of major Jewish donors to sign a letter to Democratic Party house leader Nancy Pelosi warning her to "keep out of the Democratic presidential primaries."[27] The donors, who "were strong supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton presidential campaign", "were incensed by a March 16 interview in which Pelosi said that party 'superdelegates' should heed the will of the majority in selecting a candidate."[27] The letter to Pelosi stated the donors "have been strong supporters of the DCCC" and implied, according to The Jewish Telegraphic Agency,[27] that Pelosi could lose their financial support in important upcoming congressional elections.
On May 19, 2008, it was reported that Haim Saban had "offered $1 million to the Young Democrats of America during a phone conversation in which he also pressed for the organization's two uncommitted superdelegates to endorse the New York Democrat."[28)
Saban, a long-time supporter and donor of many pro-Jewish and Israel causes, has stated his main goal in multiple interviews: "I'm a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel."[38]

entertainment industry, is the Chairman and CEO of

The Donald regaling the Clintons.
“If you want to ask me a question vette, you might want to ping me, that way I would know.”
My discussion was with him about you! And as you say, “I have the right to voice my opinion about you to him.” Also the matter of your “description” of him as a “liberal” is also nothing more that an “opinion” as well. That is simply name calling, and I thought it was inappropriate. I get it that you don’t like Trump, but I get a little tired of guys like you polluting the discussion between others with your “dislikes.” The discussion was about what Trump has been saying, not about him as a person. He’s not the best messenger, but a number of us happen to think what he’s saying needs to be said. Injecting your personal invective maybe makes you feel good, but it doesn’t do anything to move the discussion along.
After last night’s hour on Hannity, I think Carly Fiorina should be in the top ten. But my guess is that if, for some reason, you don’t like her, you will be up on some thread prattling along about how she was “fired” from HP which has nothing to do whatsoever with her political views, coupled with calling someone who sees value in her candidacy as a “liberal” or some other pejorative term to let us all know that you don’t like her.
“When we do loft a decent candidate, he is abandoned financially and socially by the in-state and national RNC GOPe elites.”
Boy, isn’t that the truth! Years ago, I was a member of the California Republican Assembly. Back then the CRA had some political clout and we got good people elected ( like Ronald Reagan). Today I wouldn’t pi$$ on the Republican Party here. Their influence in our politics has lead us to the near extinction of conservatives as a political force here. To our everlasting shame we voted in that “perambulating penis” Ahnold Shickelgruber who’s only “positive act” while in office wast to knock up his Mexican maid. We got rid of one fraud, Gray Davis, and replaced him with another.
I agree completely with everything else you’ve said. I just wonder how much longer the voters are going to go along with the RATs. And the corollary to that comment, how long are we go ing to go along with the GOPE here in CA and everywhere else too.
“South40 is a solid guy. I was a little over the top to make a point.”
Maybe he is, but I get a little tired of the name calling by some, like him, when he disagrees with what you are posting. Calling someone, like you, a liberal because you see some value in what a man like Trump is saying, really has no place here in my opinion.
Then you should have had the courtesy to ping me also so I could answer t your talking about me behind my back. You'll notice DoughtyOne did ping me because, unlike you, he has character.
And as you say, I have the right to voice my opinion about you to him. Also the matter of your description of him as a liberal is also nothing more that an opinion as well. That is simply name calling, and I thought it was inappropriate.
You're entitled to your opinion but frankly, I really don't give a damn how inappropriate you think it was.
I get it that you dont like Trump, but I get a little tired of guys like you polluting the discussion between others with your dislikes.
If you don't like it, why did you interject yourself in it when it did not involve you?
The discussion was about what Trump has been saying, not about him as a person. Hes not the best messenger, but a number of us happen to think what hes saying needs to be said. Injecting your personal invective maybe makes you feel good, but it doesnt do anything to move the discussion along.
The "discussion" is what we as individual members want to add to it. If you don't like what someone adds, just ignore it and move along. Why is that so hard for you?
After last nights hour on Hannity, I think Carly Fiorina should be in the top ten. But my guess is that if, for some reason, you dont like her, you will be up on some thread prattling along about how she was fired from HP which has nothing to do whatsoever with her political views, coupled with calling someone who sees value in her candidacy as a liberal or some other pejorative term to let us all know that you dont like her.
Now you're adding Fiorina to this thread? Just above you said, "The discussion was about what Trump has been saying, not about him as a person." You seem extremely confused on what should and should not be in a thread. It appears you believe you should be the one to decide.
Apparently you believe the "discussion" should be limited in focus. Now you say we should expand it to include other things like Carly Fiorina? I think you're an extremely confused individual who should learn how to post in Free Republic. Until you do you will continue making a fool of yourself. Your choice.
btw...Trump is a liberal jackass. Yes, that is name calling. But it is every bit the truth and I don't give a damn if you don't like it.
Have a nice day.
There’s a word for people like you, but it would offend others here.
Belive me, it doesn't.
Having had my say yesterday, my thoughts are known on this topic and I have nothing further to say to South40 other than thanks for being understand about where I was coming from.
We both took each other to task, and that’s okay by me. We should advocate for our positions.
You folks are good people. Let’s agree to disagree here. We’re not going to accomplish anything other than make ourselves feel bad for going the limit on one topic when we agree about some many others.
We all want the best guy to be elected in 2016, not to include the likes of Bush et all, so no need to go after each other beyond this.
Both of you take care.
Go back to your double wide and fry something!

I have been a general contractor for 30+ years. I live in a 3200 sq ft custom home that I built on 3.5 acres on a view lot in eastern San Diego County. I have never lived in a trailer in my life.
You ignorance has betrayed you again.
Good show.
Cheers.
This one is better. It’s the full interview with the last 2 1/2 minutes.

My comment was directed toward your seeming desire to abuse those with whom you disagree and the disrespect you show to others who don’t share your views
FWIW, I’m not a contractor, but I too have lived in a large custom home (4,000 square ft on the top of a hill overlooking the entire San Ramon Valley on1.5 acres) in Central Contra Costa County for 30 years as well. Not that it matters as far as the subject matter at hand is concerned. I worked for a guy once who called this “peeing on posts.”
Your comment was the latest of a long list of ignorant ramblings you should never have posted yet you did so because you cannot control your apparent need to embarrass yourself.

A comment that could not be less relevant. You told me to "go back to my double wide", thus I mentioned my home. I never accused you of living in a doublewide thus where you live is relevant to no one.
I'm through wasting my time with you. You're simply not worth it. I will, however, continue calling Trump out for being the liberal turd that he clearly is. If that bothers you, tough. Bye.
Hope Trump ends up owning Univision and changes it to all American programing. How about back to back John Wayne movies? :>D
