“We strive to tell the complete story of America,” said NPS Director Jonathan B. Jarvis in a statement. “All sales items are evaluated based on educational value and their connection to the park.

If there were no Confederate battle flags in history, then just who in the world was it that my ancestors fought against? Those stupid people are denying MY history as well as that of the Sons of the Confederacy.

"We strive to tell the complete story of America"

But when it comes to the Civil War, we will allow only the Northern perspective to be told.

From Wikipedia : “A fetish ... is an object believed to have supernatural powers, or in particular, a man-made object that has power over others. Essentially, fetishism is the emic attribution of inherent value or powers to an object.” That’s what we’re seeing now. A piece of fabric has become to 21st century America what a mandrake root was in medieval Europe. Anti-intellectualism is triumphing.

This is really something. There is more outrage over this symbol than savages murdering people.

The country is in a state of collective delusion.

The NPS are governmental agents of the current idiotic attitudes of the current administration. Our poor and biased education system is bearing the fruits of its labour.

At Shiloh, the monuments for the Union were paid for by the Federal government. The Confederate Monuments were paid for by donations of the descendants of the Confederate Soldiers. The Union were paid for by the tax money of both the Union and Confederate States whereas the Confederate Monuments were by private donations.

In a related note, activists called on the government to stop killing black men. A government spokesman responded “This is not the time for empty gestures”.

Sanitizing the Gettysburg Battlefield of all references to the confederacy will be coming soon.

Gettysburg casualties:

"Of these casualties, 7,058 were fatalities (3,155 Union, 3,903 Confederate). Another 33,264 had been wounded (14,529 Union, 18,735 Confederate) and 10,790 were missing (5,365 Union, 5,425 Confederate).

National Park Service Official (Sanitized) Narrative - "Gettysburg is the site of the worst hunting accident in American History. Now that the NRA has been outlawed, there is no possibility of this tragedy being repeated."
