Americas national parks are no longer selling Confederate battle flags in their bookstores and gift shops.
The National Park Service (NPS) announced on Thursday that the historic emblem will no longer be available as a memento for visitors to the parks system.
We strive to tell the complete story of America, said NPS Director Jonathan B. Jarvis in a statement. All sales items are evaluated based on educational value and their connection to the park.

If there were no Confederate battle flags in history, then just who in the world was it that my ancestors fought against? Those stupid people are denying MY history as well as that of the Sons of the Confederacy.
As liberty is removed from us, so to is responsibility.

Stupid
At Shiloh, the monuments for the Union were paid for by the Federal government. The Confederate Monuments were paid for by donations of the descendants of the Confederate Soldiers. The Union were paid for by the tax money of both the Union and Confederate States whereas the Confederate Monuments were by private donations.
In a related note, activists called on the government to stop killing black men. A government spokesman responded “This is not the time for empty gestures”.
Gettysburg casualties:
"Of these casualties, 7,058 were fatalities (3,155 Union, 3,903 Confederate). Another 33,264 had been wounded (14,529 Union, 18,735 Confederate) and 10,790 were missing (5,365 Union, 5,425 Confederate).
