Six are the Chief, Kennedy, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan.
Whatever, I’ll just order more ammo and wait.
Can someone - anyone - make a case that conservatives should stay members of the Republican party? I am seriously considering resigning.
WTH!!!!
I don’t think half of the Republican senators care to repeal any part of the deal. I think Lobbyists pretty much control this agenda.
What will go on for about ten more years...is steady decline of participants (figure 10 million today don’t play, and by 2020, figure roughly 40 million won’t play).
So, the next solution/fix will come up by that point where most Americans say that by adding up the monthly costs and deductible....it’s impossible. Medicare-plus will then come, my humble bet, and Republicans will probably back it....because there is nothing else.
One wonders if GOP politicians climbed on a soapbox and rail against Obamacare day and night, knowing the SCOTUS fix was in, giving them the convenient reason why Obamacare will stay.
What is perceived is more valid than what are the indisputable facts and truth. Overall intent of a collective anything is valued as right and true over physical evidence.
There is nowhere to go but down this rabbit hole.
My wife & I have already talked about that & if that were to pass we will be there in a heartbeat.
Here’s where we lost it:
I used to say we lost control of our government when FDR and the New Deal really began instituting big government on a monumental scale.
But it the seeds of this were planted well before the New Deal. The seeds were planted when our nation transitioned from a limited government republic to a mass democracy unlimited government. Mass democracy destroyed our limited government republic. At the beginning of our republic only property owners were permitted to vote in federal elections. I now see the wisdom of that.
NOW can we shoot them?
Reason is racist, homophobic, and hates minorities.
Down with reason. Live in the emotion!
Maybe Monday. After today, it is a sure thing.
Current debt as it stands today means every citizen in the country is on the hook for $190,000.00 each.
Its all a matter of time now before there is a financial collapse.
They do what they want, the rule of law be damned
Too big to fail is now institutionalized, more importantly government is too big to fail......
The government has lost the legitimacy of “consent of the governed” and is now just ruling with a club.
Really? What did ya expect?
When it comes to Obamacare, Roberts is being compelled to rule as he does. On Obamacare, Obama owns Roberts.
You’re forgetting that big GOP donors want socialized medicine. I’m sure the Chamber of Crony Capitalists think Obamacare can be “fixed” by the GOP. There’s really no deep conspiracy for Roberts to go along on Obamacare when both sides want some version of it badly.
“Roberts has said loudly and by now clearly that if he has his way the court is not going to save you from elections. So if you sit out an election in protest of your party, then as far as this court is concerned, you must live with whatever the Congress passes, during that session or elect the people to repeal.”
You’re correct and by doing so he’s completely eliminating the purpose of the entire Judicial Branch.
