This law will be unraveled one person at a time and the Democrats will have to defend their position each time. The guy who had to pay back thousands on his tax return, the guy who found his Healthcare costs have increased 30% from the previous year, the person who is told his elderly parent can’t have a certain life saving treatment and, the person who is told his company can no longer afford to keep him on because of the cost of his healthcare. Drip, drip, drip.
The Chief Justice did NOT say that tomorrow will be the last day of the session, so there WILL be an opinion on Monday. Just what? Who knows.

The drafters of this legislation intended the provision at issue to be a stick to encourage the states to develop their own marketplaces. The law was specifically designed to do the opposite of what SCOTUS decided today.

The ACA health subsidies, as for any welfare program, will keep coming until our nation’s creditors say “no more’.

Well, our politicians could still reject fiscal irresponsibility... but I jest.
Since there’s going to be an opinion given on Monday, I’m thinking that the gay marriage ruling will be then. Kind of a ‘save the biggest one for last’ thing.
However, there is the possibility that tomorrow COULD be it. Since tomorrow is the anniversary of DOMA being struck down, and if the SCOTUS wanted to ‘make a statement’, they might release that one tomorrow.
On a related note...there are going to be a lot of “Pride parades’ this weekend (and a HUGE one in Seattle on Sunday). If the ruling is released tomorrow, I expect those parades to be extra boisterous (and undeniably foul).
